We spent two weeks at C'era Una Volta and it was the most relaxing beautiful time. The weather was perfect and the pool a warm 28 degrees, but cool enough to relax you after an active game of ping pong in the garden! The B&B is well equipped and the hosts are eager to look after you and your every need. They are like family to us now. We visited the beautiful Santuario d'Oropa and the local via ferrata climbing venues, all easily accessible via quiet roads and quaint villages. Biella is a great town, within walking distance, with fashionable shops and a nicely paced night life, plenty of amenities but also very easy and small enough to get around. As with much of northern Italy, I recommend insect repellent if you are attractive to them like me, but not everyone in our party was affected. C'era una Volta with Graziella and Carlo will be in our hearts forever x…
I stayed there with my wife and 2 years old daughter and another friends family , Carlo and Graziella are amazing , they treated us like family they offered toys for the girls and was great to talk to them and enjoy the time . The house is amazing with wonderful garden and pool , great location. Definitely the best B&B i have ever stayed in and for sure i will visit them again.
Without doubt the best place we have stayed at by a long way!!! The most friendly and best organised hosts, charming and faultless! The house is perfect for a small family - a nice big pool and close to the interesting areas of Biella ( a piazza with reasonable pricing and the main local brewery) . Biella itself is well organised for (but not full of) tourists with opportunities to walk, climb, mountain bike and visit vineyards, the tourist office has a full set of maps and leaflets for these activities. The hills around are the lower slopes of the alps, with family friendly walking in woods and along streams, if you fancy something different there is even a few easier "via ferrata" including a super river gorge only 20 minutes from the house. Another "must do" is Biella gelateria (out near the autostrada) - world award winning ice cream. All in all Italy at it's best - beautiful country and super friendly people. mille grazie Carlo e Graziella…
Graziella and Carlo are the most welcoming hosts I have encountered in my travels. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and to help you enjoy your stay in Biella. The B&B itself is well-appointed and spotlessly clean. They provide an abundant breakfast and Graziella is keen to adapt it to the guest's dietary needs. Their property has a vast garden, pool and barbeque with a beautiful view of Biella. It is also very close to the medieval section of Biella from which you can take a tram to the central of town. Biella is off the main tourist track but it has many attractions such as the Santuario d'Oropo, Burcina Park and the Ricetto di Candela. Also, in the center of town is Mosca, a gastronomia that is one of the best in all of Italy. I highly recommend this B&B and visiting Biella.…
I felt totally at home thanks to both the beautiful style of the apartment and the friendliness of Graziella and Carlo. They went out of their way to find me breakfast that suited my needs. I look forward to returning again very soon.
Visited this fantastic B&B together with my family for two days. We couldn't have had a better stay and the hosts made us feel like home (but with the best service, better than from a five star hotel 😉)!! All the best of recommendations. We will definately come back!!
