The Capo Calavà Village - TH Resorts is located on the Tyhrennic Coast of Sicily, 5 kilometers from Gioiosa Marea (province of Messina), immersed in a perfumed and shady garden of lemons, figs, eucalyptus, and bougainvillea. It directly overlooks the lovely beach, bathed by the crystalline sea and bound by the evocative promontory of Capo Calava, with its soft, sloping hills covered by ancient olive groves, and on the horizon, a view of the beautiful Aeolian Islands. The sea, nature, and landscape around the village are magnificent: the Capo Calava village is in the heart of the Saracen Coast, the section of inland coast between Gioiosa Marea, Tindari, the Capo Calava promontory, the Bay of San Giorgio and the beaches of Piraino, Brolo, and Capo D'Orlando.

All crew is just excellent! So kind, so happy, so helpful people everywhere. Thank you very much and many thank to everybody.
Maybe focus on cleanliness of rooms - we were there with 2 small kids and i will appreciate for example clean towels and clean sheets more often.

Even it could seem like place for children - it is not true. In this part of island it is windy so often , so waves are very high for small child. Beach is not sandy at all - big or smaller marbles everywhere. You wiil have to wear a hat in a swimming pool (even child) and also you will have to book your time through hotel app. You are allowed to be in pool only 2 hours per day. Food was amazing. But around the hotel is nothing and wifi is only in main building.

This is not a calm and quiet Holiday. It's full of fun, culture, music, musicals, theatre and sport and competitions. All of this only if you want to. You can just lay on a beach and listen to music.
The hotel is situated in a hotel village. There is no place to go, no place to shop, there are no local people, no strangers who live nearby. But all day long you are not bored! The crew prepared a full programe.
The ROOMS are cleaned every day.
The FOOD Is very good, sicilian: seafood, pasta, vegetables, pizza, sandwich. In all inclusive, you can have delicious coffee and non alcoholic drinks all day long. From 12:00 vine and beer, aperitives, Amaro, limoncelo...Evening coctails. There is a bar also on a beach!

My boyfriend loves meat, which was not every day and if it was, there was only one kind. But it's the way Sicilian people eat!:)

The SEA was absolutely perfect. One of the best beaches I have seen! Absolutely clean water.
The crew was kind, funny and full od energy. They inform you about the program. And you can see every information in an application (at the reception they give you the instrutions how to upload)
I really recomend this Holiday!!

Especially many thanks to Giulia and her morning exercises on a beach! And to maestro Fabrizio! I listened his soft music he played every evening on terrazza while I was drinking coctails and enjoying the most romantic sunset I have ever seen! And the musical Romeo and Juietta? Just wow, wow, wow!

I cried in a plane while comming back from this Holiday, I didn't want to ho home! :D
A really recomend this hotel village. Good for children, adults and also for seniors. Yes, there are some stairs in the area, but I havent seen people having problems. And the Italians are heart opened, kind and friendly, as usual!

The stay at this resort was great. Lots of animation programs for both children and adults.
The menu at the bar was sufficient.
The food was really amazing. Italian specialties, fine dining, I really have never encountered such a luxurious offer in a hotel restaurant.
Breakfast, on the other hand, was very modest and the same every day.
The beach is totally unsuitable for people with limited mobility, it was very difficult to get into the sea and then climb back to the beach. We had big waves most of the stay which was great. The sea calmed down on the last day, but unfortunately jellyfish appeared and burned our daughter.

Upon our arrival we were given a room that absolutely did not meet our requirements. It was not tidy, there was a tiny window and no terrace or balcony. Our children did not fit on the bunk bed. It took two days to get an adequate room. After that, everything was fine.

It would be better to add more English language to your program? Italian is beautiful, but there are also guests in the hotel who do not speak Italian. And I believe that it would be very beneficial for all of us and we would enjoy our vacation as much as possible.

Nice stay at this hotel. Clean beach with rock. Food was very good. But unfortunately not every offered dish had description in English.
Hotel is located in the village. So if you would like to see something, you have to book a trip. Because expect the hotel in this village is nothing. I recomend this location for people who like to swim and stay on the beach.

This is an Italian village for Italian people. This resort is not suitable for school trips. The food was excellent and the rooms were clean apart from the ants and the worms. The main problem was the over exuberant and arrogant entertainers. When we were on the beach they shouted into a microphone all morning making it impossible to relax. They had this horrific theme tune which they kept singing constantly and grabbing people off the beach to dance with them. We thought they were being lecherous but I also saw them man-handling pensioners so they were just over-bearing. We had to tell them to leave our girls alone on a number of occasions as we were concerned about their safety.
They put a great deal of effort into a shouty Italian show each evening. After that there was a disco every evening. I went to three of them. Naturally we requested a disco on the last evening to entertain our teenagers. They made every excuse in the book not to do it until finally they fessed up and said that they would not because our students would enjoy it too much. They did not allow us to do that claiming that it would bother all the children and pensioners. Personally I do not think that 7 years olds should be at a disco at 11pm but then I must be an old fashioned Britisher. When I challenged them they told me to shut up and that I was being rude.

Dear allyravenh, the TH Capo Calavà is an Italian holiday village where every summer many guests from all over the world spend their holidays. TH Capo Calavà offers services that can also meet the preferences of our international customers: they love staying in a marvellous seaside Resort, in front of the Aeolian Islands. You appreciated the excellent cuisine and the cleanliness of the rooms even if we are in an outdoor village just in front of the sea. Our staff proposes many activities, in order to entertain adults and children without wanting to be intrusive. We are sorry for the unpleasant events. Kind regards. the Management and TH Crew.

We`ve spent here 7 nights , returned just few days ago. It is located approx. 150 km from airport in Catania, took cca 2 hours to get to hotel. Otherwise just thumb up to accommodation, food, beach, animations for kinds ( unfortunately jut in Italian), Majority of the hotel visitors are Italians, just a low percentage of other nations. Food was great, every day many selections,
Room was nice, clean, with great view from balcony, all hotel area made as small 'village' , not huge hotel. Bathroom was small, but big enough.

We enjoyed a week’s stay at the resort on an all inclusive deal, the food was excellent, high quality and plentiful. The grounds were large enough that you could be away from the late night entertainment if preferred. The location on the island is quite remote with not much in the surrounding area, however when comparing to other places visited on the island it surely stands out from the rest, beaches are super clean, although stoney however this attributes to the some of the clearest and calm waters to swim in. Recommended if you want a week relaxing in the sun with huge amounts of super nice Italian food :) thanks for the great experience! :)
