This family owned and operated hotel is located by the fjord in an area with incredible nature. We came there to hike in the surrounding mountains, there are a lot of good trail options from the extreme to the casual. The hotel is an old well-kept building, and the owners have…
I see many people write that this hotel has very poor management and I would think all the problems are coming from this issue. The hotel is not providing good value for the money they charge. The restaurant provided only fixed dinner and no meny, so the prices on the check came…

"Choose between views of the fjord or towards the mountains/side of the hotel."
"Room No. 20 is as tiny as it is special. There's no elevator and I would not recommend taking large suitcases upstairs."
"There are steep oldfashioned stairs so it is unsuitable for those who do not walk well."
"Not sure about the other rooms or locations, seemed like our room, #10 was on par with the others."
"Rooms with high numbers are closer to the shared bathroom. The hotel is located right next to the main road of Rosendal, but it was still nice and quiet at night time (this might be different in summer, though)."
