Amazing hotel! Super recommended. Your experience in Morocco will be elevated and more appreciated after the stay at Dar Jnan Tiouira. Staff are wonderful. Food is mind blowing. And the efforts and love put into the architecture of the building and details is just AMAZING.
Our experience was amazing since the beginning, every detail is taken care by Mostapha. The hotel is in a beautiful spot and the food is without doubt the best we had in our whole 3 weeks trip. No doubt we’ll come back!
This hotel was so wonderful! The food was exception, the service was exceptional. We wish we stayed longer! Mustafa the owner was a wonderful host. The sunrise was a highlight and the rooms were warm and cosy!
This small hotel is an absolute gem! The proprietor, Moustaffa, built the traditionally inspired building himself with exacting attention to detail using locally sourced materials and craftsmanship. The rooms are comfortable and water pressure is excellent. Notices in the rooms alert guests not to waste water or electricity. It was good to be reminded to be mindful of this. There are many reasons to praise this fine small hotel, the cuisine was chief among them. Dinner consisted of 4 course meal with delicious local flavors artfully presented, and graciously served by the host family. Second helpings were offered, and choices of herbal teas to finish the evening. Breakfast was also beautifully presented with excellent coffee, pancakes, yogurt, fruit and local preserves.
Four of us stayed there for one night off-season.This is a fantastic place in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. The hotel is a Kasbah- style with a lot of authentic details but in a modern style. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was very quiet and serene. The feeling of serenity was helped by our amazing host Mustapha. He told us how he had created this place, told us about the area, and cooked a delicious french-style dinner to give us a break from several days of tangiens. Food was immaculately served in an immaculate room next to a fireplace. Mustapha is also a local guide who loves the area and takes people on hiking trips. I wish we had planned this trip slightly differently and spent at least one full day there exploring the area with Mustapha This is a rare case when the reality is much better than the pictures on the website…
A very aithentic Berberic house with good facilities. Moustafa is an amazing cook. He prepared best Vegetarian Moroccon dishes for me and my wife. They also make special arrangements to make our Honeymoon special.
Beautiful Kaspah hotel. We had the family suite and everything was comfortable and well appointed but the best part was the amazing home cooked meals we had. Probably our best culinary experience in Morocco thus far! Our host Mustafa was lovely and we fully recommend this place!
We loved our 1 night stay at this property! The food, the decor, the staff every single thing is on point. Highly recommend spending more than 1 night. We really wish we could have stayed longer. Don’t hold back! Go ahead and book! Our dinner was a 4 course meal prepared with fresh ingredients and love!
Dar Jnan Tiouira is a true oasis of hospitality on the highest level. Mustafa the owner will welcome you like an old friend and he and his family will cook up a feast for you. The food that they serve is truly divine and combines high-quality traditional ingredients with a modern and international twist. You can tell that a lot of love and passion goes into inventing and preapering the recipes. It’s worth visiting the hotel for the food alone, but it has a lot more to offer than that. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious, and decorated with great attention to detail. Mustafa is a very kind, cultured and intelligent host, and an interesting person to get to know. This is the second time I’m returning to this hotel and the only thing I regret is that I didn’t stay longer :)…
This is a very elegant, but remote Dar and Mustapha and his sisters personally took care of our group of 6. The biggest surprise was dinner. Far from traditional Moroccan fare, Mustapha served us a beautiful international dinner that was as good as any fine dining restaurant anywhere in the world. He is a very kind soul and fascinating to talk to. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
