Absolutely Amazing views from the roof here, especially during sunset. The rooms here are very comfortable, which a cultural style that makes you feel like you are in one of the local homes. The restaurant on the roof offers a very nice buffet for dinner and breakfast, featuring some great traditional dishes. The location is very nice, although we did not get to explore the town too much. Very much enjoyed our stay here.

This hotel is less 'Hollywood', 'faux adobe', than it's sister hotel in Erfoud. It has better quality towels too! It is less 'corporate', with a more sophisticated ambience. Rooms were fine, but I find it mean spirited if any hotel, that does supply complimentary water in the room. This is especially the case, when price margins must be low, and it is hot, and one cannot drink the tap water! The usual buffet style dining room was fine, nothing exceptional. The hotel benefits from splendid views of the town, and shadows of the distant undulating hills.

We stayed in a beautiful and very spacious suite at the Hotel Xaluca Dades for one night. The suite had 2 full bathrooms, a living room and bedroom as well as a terrace with a magnificent psnormic view of Dades valley. The 5 star rating refelcts how much we enjoyed the beauty, ambiance and comfort of the suite. However, the buffet dinner was disappointing, lots of choices, but most dishes were tasteless. Breakfast was better, although the eggs were cold.

This was the second Xaluca hotel we stayed in and it was quite a bit smaller (the property and the rooms). The rooms were fine, but the step up to the bathroom (or down to the bedroom) was very dangerous, especially if you needed to use at night.
Shower leaked out into the bathroom making the floor very slick or the towel very soggy.
Cocktails were very expensive with very small 'pours'.
We left this morning for Marrakech and the breakfast buffet was being 'handled' by all the guests. By the time we go to Marrakech, the country was shut down and we were quarantined to our rooms and could only order room service.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a tour of Morocco. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the city and the view was breathtaking. The room in itself was ok, cold at night but we were tired so it wasn’t a problem. Reception was helpful but as the rest of the hotel, nothing special. Dinner and breakfast were included and the food was not good. The worst was our Hamman experience, it was dreadful. It was our first and last!!! At least we laugh about it when we talk about the trip.....

Stayed here for one night as part of a tour. It's a beautiful old Hotel located overlooking the city of Dades. The hotel has plenty of old world Moroccan charm, architecture & culture. The rooms are very unique in traditional morrocan style. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was nice & a good selection at breakfast as well. Beautiful pool & spa located on the same floor as the restaurant & bar. Only negative is the room power is controlled by a central switch by the door & if you dont have the main lights on the room has no lights or power, which make navigating to the bathroom in the middle of the night very dangerous as there is a large step up into the bath room. It also means that you can't charge your phones, etc, whist you sleep.

While the hotel is unique and lovely, our spa experience was awful. This was our second hammam, first massage. For the hammam, the water was luke warm, no attention paid to our feet, nothing used but soap and a scrub. For the massage, it was uncomfortably cold. The room was cold, my wet hammam towel covered my back, and it was all around miserable. It soured our entire hotel experience.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Berber ladies and men in their traditional dress singing, dancing and playing the drums. It was a welcome I will never forget! Thank you! The hotel room was beautifully and uniquely decorated and had a balcony with wonderful views over Boumalne Dades. I was an incredible sunrise from the balcony. The swimming pool terrace had a lovely romantic vibe and was lit by beautiful Moroccan lanterns. Dinner and breakfast were scrumptious. The room had a minibar with a welcome selection of treats. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Thanks hanks for a great stay!

I think this is a fabulous hotel. The singing greeting with the Bedouin ladies and gentleman was touching and welcoming. The mint tea in the lobby. Then the African decor and the wall textures snd colors match the surrounding land and the rustic shelves and copper sinks and pure cotton ( so like the ones we iron in the old days) and bedside lamps and honor drinks in fridge… the glass walkway to our rooms with a fossil beliw.
The buffet of beef and chicken tangine. The vegetables and the deserts. The perfect service of everyone from the gift shop to the desk… I just can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It is sn experience in itself standing on my balcony watching the sunset or rise or the lights of the city or the stars. The rooftop pool and bar!
There is a gym and spa which we didn’t get to use but I bet they are over the top, too!

We stayed in Dades Xaluca Hotel for one night as a stopover on our journey. As hotels go in Dades, I've been told that this one is at or near the top of the list. The expansive view from the hotel is very nice as is the pool. The room was adequate though we thought it strange and somewhat dangerous that the bathroom was up a large step which could easily be missed in the darkness of night, especially considering that there are no nightlights. To plug in your phone next to the bed required unplugging the bedside light from the one outlet that was available. The one real dissatisfier that our group had was with the food. The dining room meals are served buffet style and the quality and offerings were substandard in our group's opinion.

Hi EusAdnma, I don't remember particularly about this Hotel, however, I believe that the Moroccan Hotels use an American plug, so you should be okay. However, most European Hotels of course use the European plug. I purchased and use a multi adaptor during my travels & have never been caught short. A good investment for $30 approx.
I used the gym during my stay. It is a smallish room next to the spa. It is open all the time, take a towel and a water bottle with you. Has a treadmill and basic equipment.
