We just loved this hotel! Parking right in front of the building, which dates from 1681! The night manager, who greeted us when we arrived late, was kind enough to make sure we got dinner before the (quite good) restaurant closed for the night. We checked in after that and then spent some time in the lovely lounge with our...

Excellent traditional restaurant, comfortable room, friendly mountain/rural atmosphere, beautiful scenery, quiet surroundings, lots of hiking and cycling trails in the area, some accessible right out the front door, very peaceful, wish I could have stayed longer.

We went to the Black Forest for a few days and visited this hotel. Friends of us were very enthousiastic and weneeded a nice place to stay on our way to Italy. The room we had was fantastic with beams and a balcony. The beds are good with lovely duvets. The food is honest and local and so are the...
