We stayed at the Anaterve for 9 nights in late August in their self catering apartment which is part of the hotel. Herman and Amala, our hosts, were lovely - a very kind and helpful couple who gave us space but were available if we needed any advice or help. We stayed for dinner with them on a couple of...

The owners were amazing! The views from the balcony down into the valley were spectacular. You could see the ocean, green crops, the sweet downtown, and the terraced hills. The breakfasts were delicious. There was always fresh fruit and the veggie omelets were fantastic. The rooms were clean and had cute decorations and a colorful fruit bowl. The staff was...

We stayed here for 13 nights in Feb/March based on reviews we read on Tripadvisor. The hotel did not disappoint. The suite was delightful and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The evening meal was the highlight of the day along with the fantastic walks and scenery. Herman and Amala were delightful hosts - nothing was too much for...

Next time will try to get a room with a sunset balcony, our room was a little too cold, but since this was late January, perhaps not surprising. Almost made me wish I was a veterinarian, the food was...

Based on the positive feedbacks from fellow ‘tripadvisor’ walking enthuasiast on La Gomera, we really wanted to stay in this place. And yes, I confirm all the positive feedbacks you read on this place. As we were walking around the island, we only stayed for one night, but it is definitely a place I could use to explore more of...

We went on a ten day walking holiday to this hotel. 'had a wonderful away form it all holiday'. Amala and Herman were excellent hosts. The walks were great (take good walking shoes/ boots), the rooms very clean, large, lots of hot water and very quite at night. The best food we found was in the hotel cooked by Amala....

Excellent little hotel in a beautiful valley for a very reasonable price. We stayed in an apartment with kitchenette, small living room, 2 bedrooms and bathroom so we had enough space for two! It was extremely nice and clean with a wonderful view over the village of Vallehermoso and the ocean. We felt at home there and this feeling was...
