We stayed at Tamahuche on a hiking trip. Wonderful location with a very friendly owner (speaks some English but not a lot). Breakfast is very good. We had diner once and it was great, fresh, local dishes. Picnic for hikers is available at a reasonable fee. The rooms are small but clean and so is the bathroom. The hotel is... More

Went to Vallehermoso to see how they make the palm honey which I highly recommend if you ever get the chance to see it. Though my father has a house in the village (he was born there) we decided to stay in a hotel this time. The location is great, breakfast was delicious and Jordi is very kind, friendly and... More

Small, comfortable room with views of the surrounding hills. This hotel is an excellent location for walkers to acces the coast or mountains. Buffet breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Good suggestions for local eateries.

We were booked here for 2 nights as part of a walking tour and it was exactly what we woukd have chosen for ourselves. The views from the balcony were lovely, our beds comfortable and the breakfast was great. We were at the top so our balcony had lovely mountain and town views. Unfortunately there was a youth club across... More

A hotel built into the side of a mountain, with great view from our shared terrace across the valley to Roque Cano, symbol of the town. Smallish room, but clean and well equipped. Jordi served an excellent dinner our first night and his dessert introduced us to miel de palma, tapped (like maple syrup) from the Canarian pine. Absolutely delicious.... More

Rooms were small, but clean and bathroom with shower was fine - and very clean. Our room was at the top - and i think these were the best as they had a terrace back and front. only mattress was not great - but OK for a couple of nights. Breakfast were very good with plentiful food and dining room... More

Our room was a bit dark. Ask for a room higher up the building if possible. The walking in this area is just fantastic but you have to be willing to climb in order to really appreciate it. The owner is quiet but very hospitable. The Tapas Bar just off the town square has great food and real authenticity, but... More

What a lovely place with a large bed and a terrace in front of our room. The breakfast has all the local fresh Gomerian ingrediants and was very well prepared. The only issue was the wifi that did not work well in the room.

The hotel is basic but acceptable. The host is not. He is surly, disinterested and aggressive. We were locked out of he breakfast room (which houses the wifi) until 8am on the dot every morning - despite him being in the room but ignoring our requests to enter. The lowlight of our visit came when I queried the drinks bill... More

This is a nice character hotel, more of a hostel in some ways, the rooms are fairly basic and I found ours quite gloomy. The breakfast was nice, served in a lovely room.and the views were stunning from our level which was quite high up. I found our bathroom small.
