Geoff and Karen are perfect hosts, made us feel very welcome. The room was warm and comfortable. The gin list extensive. The food is basic pub fare but very good value. Breakfasts very good. Would thoroughly recommend especially if you are exploring this part of North Cornwall

Hello, Just booked for Friday and Saturday night for a quick break. Not sure from reviews which are "quiet" rooms, but we do enjoy a peaceful nights sleep! I am due for a hip replacement next week as my mobility is not 100%. So better on the ground floor. Do you have special rooms for mobility impaired? No real problem - I can cope with stairs with handrails! Thank you.....Bob Prothero
All of the rooms are on the second floor. There is no elevator, but someone will carry your bags upstairs. There is virtually no traffic at night. But I would check to see if a band or musical performance has been scheduled for the bar area. There was a pretty loud (but good) duo of amped musicians one of the nights we stayed. I estimate that they finished around 11 PM.

Hi - we were hoping to walk around Port Isaac (as Doc Martin fans) - how far is the village from the Cornish Arms? Can you walk to it or it parking available? Thanks!
Hi there, there is a walk down through the valley from pendoggett, it asked around an hour I would say to walk down and a little longer back, you can park in port Isaac as long as you get there early! Enjoy your stay Gem
