Re-branded as the Lighthouse Boutique Hotel. Modern, clean rooms and very affordable. Great location near the market, as well as the best Western restaurants on the island. The nearest beach is a 15 minute walk away as well. Friendly and accommodating staff, though only a couple speak some English. Only minor grievance regards the housekeeping - we stayed for 5...

Ok, also the only place that I've stayed on Con Dao......but I have stayed in lots of hotels and this is a good one! Now called The Lighthouse.... Recently re-done at a guess, the rooms are spotlessly clean and the bed is extremely comfortable. Air con is quiet and effective and the shower room is large, clean and everything works....

The hotel is now called "The Lighthouse" and is run by two charming Vietnamese ladies with great English. Rooms are straightforward but done very well, with the bathrooms in the rooms at the back particularly nice.

You should call in advance and the hotel arranged a shared pick up from the airport at 50.000vnd a person. The hotel is clean, cheap and centrally located. Room was spacious, had an air conditioned, a TV and a mini fridge. They rent motorbikes and scooters for reasonable rates. Just spent 2 days on Con Dao at the Hai An....

We had a good time in Hai An Hotel. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. The staff speaks a little English but they go to an English course to improve. The rooms are clean and cosy. We would love to come back.

We are a family of three, with a four-year- old kid who had booked ( and unfortunately had to stay at Hai An hotels during our whole trip). When we booked, we carefully looked at the photos, reviews from different websites like booking.com and my husband ended up booking it with Expedia. When we came, the owner, Hai was very...

The room was clean and tidy. The staff though ruined my stay. On return to the hotel after a day on the beach My husband and I returned cold and wet to pick up our bags and go airport. The girl instead of greeting us with hello or how was your day just said you must pay for stay! Very...

The hotel is a bit far from the beach. Nearby are restaurants and the market. Staff is polite. You can take for rent a cheap moped and use laundry service. The hotel is small and cozy. We had a room without a balcony, with air conditioning, refrigerator. In the room were ants and fleas. In general, if you plan to...

Excellent option when travelling in budget. Room was clean and the guy at the reception did everything he could to help us (getting a scooter, etc). Thu Ba, one of the best reataurants in Con Son is around 50m from the Hotel, but again, Con Son is a tiny place, so everything is in walking distance.

“Every room seems to have different types of mattresses. The first one I've tried was like a wooden bench (which is the norm in Vietnam). Just ask Mrs. Van to visit more rooms, I'm pretty sure you'll find what you need! I was staying in room n°4 and the mattresses were excellent. I wish I had the same back home :-)”
