This was out second visit to Seaforth and I must say that it will likely be our last. We had high expectations since our previous stay was so enjoyable. On our first stay we were greeted as soon as we arrived by the manager, a very friendly and knowledgeable girl (Charley, I think her name was) and one of the... More

We travelled with 4 families. 8 adults and 7 children. We arrived at this place and was met by a lady in an apron. She showed us to our rooms that did not cater for the children. Old beds with dusty linen were placed in our rooms for the children. We we had paid separately for meals for the children... More

On arrival at the Lodge there was no one in sight, but eventually found a staff member who took us to our rooms. There is only about 3 staff that are running the lodge, so service is not of the best standard, however I would like to say that they did try very hard to accommodate us, with them having... More

We stayed here for an anniversary weekend after getting an online discounted deal. We only read the reviews here after booking - so were prepared for the worst. The booking process was flawed, with several emails and phone calls later to confirm we had in fact paid in full and all was in order. We phoned ahead to book a... More

On Arrival there was no Management to great us. In fact we never got to meet the owner. We asked for glasses and ice which never appeared so we went to look for a staff member and they were non-existent so we had to go to the kitchen where there were also no staff so we had to open cupboards... Mediocre’ and ‘average’ are generous terms to describe my past weekend’s experience at Seaforth Country Lodge. This trip was booked during a Daddy’s Deal promotion, which included a 2 nights stay with meals included, therefore justifying the price at the time. First off, there was no figure of management or authority at the lodge. We were welcomed by a lovely... More

Dear jOnOKat I'm afraid the only thing embarrassing is your total and utter lack of education 1. KZN is recovering from one of its worst storms. Seaforth was particularly hard hit with extensive damage being caused to our water systems. Instead of holding your hand and stroking your ego during your stay, we chose to conduct urgent repairs on our... More

We enjoyed a night at Seaforth, including massages and dinner. The geese outside our window in the morning were a treat and the little pigs roaming around are adorable. We were treated like royalty, fetched from our room for our massage, which was excellent. The facilities are the perfect blend of modern with old country charm. The massage therapists are... More

Dear Bev Thank you for your review. We appreciate your valuable comments however we would like to point out the following: 1. You arrived late. Check-in is at 13:00.
