We had a wonderful stay at Grand Tatry. Big shout out to Kamil who was so helpful and organised to collect us from the airport although it was very late at night. The Grand Tatry is a lovely place to stay, the rooms are spacious with everything you need. Breakfast was lovely with something different every day. Hot tub and sauna evening was wonderful (although hot tub is very very hot 😅) and juts a stones throw from the slopes and restaurants. We will be back!

The exterior of the building looks nice and new. The interior also looks cozy and welcoming. The size of the double rooms are quite good, more than enough for 2 persons. There is a sauna and a hot bath outside which give a nice relaxing opportunity after a long day of skiing. The location of the property is very good, it is located just 5 minutes from the ski-slopes and there are several restaurants in walking distance. The hotel is also a bit children friendly because there are family rooms, a playing room and an outside playground. The choice of the breakfast is not big but since it is not a big hotel and is 3*, it is oke, and dishes are nice. There is a bit of everything. And now the small negative things. When we arrived, the receptionist was not at her place, she came after we pressed the ring. Oke, of course, it can happen. However, when we left, she was having breakfast with her colleagues in the restaurant. I think it is not professional, she should have waited until we leave. What we really missed from the rooms are: - safety deposit box (it should be basic nowadays) - holder for toothbrushes in the bathroom - something for the shower gel and shampoo in the shower, I mean a holder on the wall or something - since there is sauna and bath outside, a bathrobe would have been nice What was a bit annoying is that at 7:30 am on Sunday morning the housekeepers were extremely noisy, they woke us up. I am not sure what they were doing but it was like a construction site. In overall, it is a good hotel but they should reduce the rates a bit or they should offer those missing things that I mentioned above. The only reason I would consider going back next year is the location.

No idea why there are some positive reviews for the place. I was staying here for a week with my son having read the reviews, I wish I hadn't. I got put in a tiny room, the shower was so small I could hardly fit in it, I am not that tall. It wasn't until the morning - as the light streamed in at 5.45am that I noticed there were no curtains or blinds on the window, making it impossible to sleep. When I asked to be moved, or have some curtains, failing that to cancel the booking and have a refund I received the most ridiculous and rude response. Firstly claiming that some photos show the room did not have curtains therefore my complaint was not valid. I never did get to see the photos. After pointing out to the aggressive so called manageress that hotel rooms had curtains/blinds as a basic requirement, she said where did it say they were a hotel. I pointed out on the booking form. At which point she said that I was always complaining, this was the first time. Then she refused to listen and walked away - shouting good luck with any complaints. My friends room, did have curtains, but was also tiny, This place has no facilities, no bar or place to sit other than the tiny rooms. It is also a fair walk from the slopes. Save your money, it wasn't the cheapest option, and book somewhere that has facilities, calls itself a hotel and has welcoming staff, We found there are lots of places way better for less money. Also shame on Booking.com, whilst agreeing that my complaint was totally understandable, they refused to do anything due to the photos (which I could never saw) showing a room, not with a view but no curtains. Let the buyer beware, booking. com you have lost my business.

We came for the first time to the resort of Bialka Tatrzanska, and the Grand Tatry hotel. We came by minibus from the airport (Kraków); this dropped us at the bus stop which was a few minutes walk from the hotel - very easy to find. The hotel itself is great - very cosy, friendly staff, very clean, and extremely comfortable beds! Lovely bathroom with heated flooring - heavenly when freshening up with tired legs after the day on the slopes! The buffet breakfast was excellent - really set us up for a day on the slopes. My wife needed a few ski lessons as it was her first time, which the guy on reception sorted out for us for the morning after we arrived. The location of the hotel is great- literally a 5 min walk to the ski lift, ski hire places. The one comment to the hotel I would make, and this is only a genuine constructive critique to make a great hotel even better, was the serviettes on the tables in the restaurant were very cheap and felt out of place with everything else in the hotel which is of such high quality. Apart from that just great - we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I am just home from the most enjoyable stay at grand tatry.my six friends and I spent a week here for skiing. We were treated so well from the time of booking right up to the second we left especially by receptionist Victoria. She organised transfers to and from Krakow airport for us and was so willing to help us and advise us on anything we needed. We opted for the half board option and there was plenty of choices at both breakfast and dinner. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed the polish soups and meats at dinner!!! We requested extra pillows and towel changes throughout the week and there was no hesitation with the hotel supplying these for us. We ate in the hotel restaurant late one evening and the food was really delicious, the steaks and duck were outright winners for us! Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation and the location was excellent for what we needed. I will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again
