We have just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at Fern Cottage. We were warmly greeted by Sue on arrival, who showed us to the beautiful Rosemary room which overlooked the rear garden and amazing countryside views. The room itself was spotless and contained everything we could want, a range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate with daily, very... More

We loved every minute of our 3-day stay here! Sue and Peter made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We stayed in the rosemary room which has a wonderful view of their garden and the fields beyond. The room was beautifully decorated with thoughtful extras such as homemade biscuits next to the well-stocked coffee-tea bar, binoculars, bird... More

Sue and Pete were fantastic hosts and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The bedroom was spotless and pristine, the bathroom newly refurbished, and fresh home-made cookies were placed on the dresser every afternoon. Breakfast was very tasty indeed, including Sue's famous baked egg plate, which used fresh eggs hatched from their local hen farm. I highly recommend Fern Cottage... More

Sue and Pete have set up lovely, fresh and beautiful accommodation. They are so welcoming and friendly! Nothing is too much hassle for them. They have excellent knowledge of the area and recommended some lovely country pubs to eat at, organised taxis for us, and told us all about Bath. The food they cooked was outstanding! A really enjoyable weekend.... More
