On our arrival, we were warmely greeted by Sue who showed us to our beautiful room with stunning views of the country side. We had initially booked the Rosemary room however, we were kindly upgraded, for no extra cost, to the Chamomile room which was exceptionally clean, cosy and warm (the heated floor in the bathroom was as added bonus!)... Fantastic location close to both Bath and Bristol, easy access to the Cotswolds, Somerset and Wales. Handy off street parking next to the accommodation. Peaceful views from our window over large garden and paddocks towards Bristol. Magnificent sunsets. Our accommodation was all we could want, excellent range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate with daily, very yummy home made biscuits,... More

Sue and Pete were wonderful hosts and we felt so well taken care of. Their warm personalities and the amount of love put into this place show in every aspect of this B&B. We loved the yummy food, adorable Molly and the gardens especially! We also have to commend the great shower and cleanliness of the room, we always felt... More

Warmly greeted by Sue and her bubbling personality with a pot of hot tea and chocolate brownies, which we enjoyed in the enclosed porch attached to our room ( Rosemary Room) overlooking the garden and rural countryside. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with modern en-suite bathroom. Sue & Pete were extremely helpful in recommending local eating places, as well... More

Stayed here for two nights in April this year. Sue and Pete (the owners) were so friendly and went out of their way to offer us advice and tips about what to see and where to go. On arrival we were shown to our room and given some homemade cookies :-) The breakfast was superb (especially the baked egg). The... More

Stayed for 3 nights at Fern Cottage. Hosts were very friendly and informative. Room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower. Breakfasts were very enjoyable. Good quality, local produce used and good choices on menu. Visited Bristol, Bath and Westonbirt, so the B&B was ideally located for our trip.

We booked following a recommendation and were not disappointed. A delicious cream tea awaited our arrival along with a warm welcome from Sue and Pete. A lovely surprise was a card and chocolate truffles for our Wedding Anniversary. The stylish (On Suite) room had a large comfortable bed and great views over the fields and chickens. Sue and Pete could... More

We stayed at Fern Cottage for 2 nights over the August Bank Holiday weekend. We had a really warm welcome on arrival and a fresh pot of tea was bought into the room shortly after we checked in. The room was lovely and there were freshly baked chocolate cookies in the room along with gluten free shortbread a I follow... More
