My family stayed there as the base for visiting the Peak District. The staff is very friendly and we had a really good time. The restaurant catered for our son allergies and the food was top rate. We will staying there again.

We stayed overnight for a sports event in the area. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming, particularly the receptionist lady who had an "in training" badge (didn't get her name unfortunately). The restaurant next door also had nice staff and the meal was good value.

Went there last weekend. You know what you're getting in a Premiere Inn. A clean, comfortable bedroom. Large clean bathroom and this one was no different. The reception was busy on arrival but the young lady was pleasant and charming. Repaired (with many others) to the restaurant attached to the premises. I had fish, chips and peas. This was served... Great experience, and the restaurant food was excellent. The rooms are usual Premier Inn standard - and you know the standard as they are all the same. Been in one, you've done them all. Staff very friendly and obliging. The car park was up to maximum capacity, so I'm not sure where you would go if it was full.

The roadchef is expensive but its ok. Went to a lovely restaurant in Matlock which was recommended by Kate. Checkout was easy and going at 12pm is lovely for... More

premier inn as usual, good value. Excptionally clean. Room a good size. The extractor fan stayed on while bathroom light was on therefore l could not leave bathroom light on whilst we slept. No lift from ground floor. Had to carry luggage up stairs. We had the meal deal which is great value. Food extermely good.

Nice rooms that are very clean, good food and lovely relaxing sleep. Like it! Excellent atmosphere and the staff were really nice. Although the walls are a little thin we found it quiet compared to upmarket hotels like the dreaded Eastwood Hall Very close to a five!
