We stayed here during a recent road trip through France where we stayed at 5 different lodgings that ranged from a swanky little boutique hotel in the 6th arrondisement of Paris, to a 16th century chateau in the Loire Valley, to this converted old farmhouse. I mention this because I think it's important to note that my 5 star excellent...

We are not normally B&B people but all the Hotels in MSM are in a row of about 150m and none really took our Fancy. An extremely comfortable bed and most pleasant host who acquainted us with where to eat and what to see etc. Walking the Mount both in the evening and the morning is a must and don't...

Very clean, nice room and charming hosts, who made our stay very special. We're a young family with a 2 year old and the host, Veronique made lots of effort for our little girl. There is also an uninterrupted view of Mont Saint Michele from the car park.

Great location just outside the Mont-Saint-Michel tourist zone. Friendly innkeeper gives local advice on what to see and do. Average beds. Average French breakfast. Reasonable rates. I would definitely would stay here again if visiting Normandy.

Veronique is very personable, informative, and friendly. The room we stayed in was decorated in a nautical theme and was very bright and cheery. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom large. Everything looked new. Each day, she places you at a different table for breakfast, which includes a lovely array of cheeses, fruits, breads, pastries and cereal. The...

We only stayed one night, yet this stay is one of the fond memories I will carry with me of France and Normandy. This is everything a Bed and Breakfast should be, starting with the lovely new owner, Veronique, who speaks excellent English........even though she apologizes for it : ) I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations and getting to know a...

My family and I loved staying at La Jacotiere. The hospitality could not be beat. The hosts really went the extra mile to make us feel at home. My daughter developed a somewhat personal friendship with Veronique. The rooms were individually decorated in a local and also a personal taste. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom facilities were like...

The two best things about La Jacotiere are Veronique, the new owner, and of course, the view. You are very close to the shuttle to take you to the Mont or you can walk, like we did, in about 35 minutes. Veronique was very friendly and helpful. She allowed us to wash our clothes and there was a fan in...

Véronique, our hostess, could not have been more friendly or accommodating. She was very helpful in guiding us, and all emails were returned quickly. La Jacotiere is also very convenient to the shuttle to Mont-St-Michele; it was just steps away. Breakfast was just lovely, too.

Cannot write highly enough about this wonderful B & B, the lovely proprietor, a superb breakfast coupled with loads of parking and just minutes walk from the town and the shuttle. Our ground floor room was perfect with a huge bathroom and double doors to outside where we could have sat and watched the abbey and the setting sun; instead...
