Jumierges was a discovery. A step back in time with a lovely ferry crossing by the Seine. We really enjoyed visiting the Abbey. The hotel is very comfortable but a bit over priced. We stayed for one night and had a junior suite which was no better than a standard room at a big chain hotel. I contacted the hotel...

The staff were absolutely delightful, the rooms spacious and decorated with taste. The gardens and the pool were very relaxing and pleasant; a must if you want to spend the night in Jumièges! The breakfast buffet was fantastic, excellent pastries, salmon, ham, local cheeses...

This is our fourth visit, and we were not disappointed. A lovely secluded location, with first class accommodation. Well done we will be returning. Although there is no restaurant on site, there is an excellent lounge and bar which doubles as a breakfast room, this overlooks the pool.

The concept of a mock farmyard with luxury fittings fits well into this rural setting. Lazing by the pool on a sunny day, surrounded by birdsong, really is idyllic. Our large room had a huge, comfy bed, spa bath and double sinks. However, I'm afraid I must join earlier reviewers in saying that there are just too many little things...

OK, ..... so I can recommend this as a place to stay. But we had no hot water for the best part of 24 hours - having travelled a long way, the first thing we all wanted was a bath or shower. Given we had booked two rooms (neither had hot water) I would have expected more than a free...

This is a beaufitul group of old Norman buildings, within a large enclosure, which have been tastefully restored into a very attractive hotel. I don't think there is a restaurant but they serve a decent buffet breakfast. It is tucked in below the square with the Mairie.

We spent 6 nights here in mid August - the stay was enjoyable and relaxed. The room was large and comfortable - very adequate for 3 people. The hotel staff were helpful and pleasant - happy to advise about restaurants, book tables and suggest alternatives when a restaurant was closed. Breakfast was a real highlight with local cheeses, choices of...

This is a great find in a pretty town with a lot of history. A visit to the Abbey is essential. Super staff, nice modern facilities in a classic Norman style. Nice pool and spa. Breakfast excellent. They do not serve dinner, so you have choices of expensive nouvelle cuisine a short walk or more modest and more food, a...

3 guys who took 3 rooms for 3 nights, using as a base for tour of Normandy. Hotel looks great on the pictures but just needs the fine details polishing in reality. This is an independent/ family run?? establishment and the lack of professional management is what ultimately lets the place down from great to good e.g. house keeping, the...

This luxury hotel is located in a splendid area near the Seine and famous ruins. The hotel has a heated pool. The rooms are spacious and quiet; please ask one with AC. The staff is friendly. But they tried to get us to a very expensive restaurant claiming that it was difficult to find a decent place to have dinner...
