Stayed by a family with a child in a Balinese villa overlooking the sea. The view of the sea is conditional - you can see of course, but everything overlaps the bar and restaurant. We moved in right away, early. The villa is large , there is a bed and an extra bed , place for clothes - dressers and closet, bathroom is large in the open air , there is a place for drying clothes. The hotel offers coffee water in the bar all day - very convenient. Breakfast is good, on the menu. The area is well-kept green , there are many sunbeds on the beach, but they are still scarce as the hotel is always crowded. A lot of Russians in the hotel, none of the others in the lime have met so many compatriots. If you go right on the beach to the cliff, cross the hinged bridge, it's a small beach quiet. This hotel has no swimming pool , unlike this hotel on sunrise beach (Mali sunrise)

The location of the room, on the second line of beach, just 15 steps away is very nice and comfortable.
The honest breakfast is served on the beach informally or in the countryside or even on the bedside. A very relaxing way to start the day.
We really liked the room. The “open air” bathroom exceeded expectations! Taking a shower with wild coconut trees as a ceiling is an incredible experience, in communion with nature, though in total privacy.
The route from the resort to Walking Street is a short walk by the sea through the beach.

This is a really nice little hotel with bungalows. Cleaning is done daily and quickly. There is free water all day, as well as coffee and tea. The delicious breakfast must be selected from the menu and then served. The food in general is super delicious. Whether it's noodle soup or burger or Thai. Super delicious and price - performance just fits!
The only drawback: The loungers on the beach! It's just better to have a look at this by the staff. For example, guests from Sita Beach (recognizable by the towel) lie on the sunbeds! Since the loungers are generally a bit scarce, this is just crap! If then also a larger group comes, who reserve about 20 loungers but use only about 10 loungers during the day, then it may already be that you as a hotel guest can no longer get loungers! That must not be allowed!
But still: You come to terms!
We will come back - have already booked again 😊

We stayed at Mali pattaya beach like 4 nights at beachfront ocean villa ( the best room type in this hotel) but we are really disappointed ..The room is so old and dirty. Curtain and fridge have mold . Water in the bathroom is dark . Look terrible. We must buy bottle of water from 7/11 to wash our face and brush our teeth. Staff is unfriendly at all . Just someone is ok . Housekeeper did not change our bath sheet .Normally they should change it at least 1 time if i stay 4 nights . Never refill bathroom amenity and did not wash our glass after we use . This is a kind of far away from standard service that we should get !!!!! Anyway…ocean view is the best on this on hotel .

Loved this resort! Great room (we had the beachfront bungalow), awesome staff, and a wonderful beach. The location is great, close enough to the walking street area to easily stroll there but far enough away where the beach traffic was minimal. There is a reef for snorkeling right in front of the hotel and, as a bonus, it is the one of the few places on the beach where there are no long tail traffic. The food at the hotel was great and there is unlimited coffee, tea, and water at the beachside bar. Would absolutely recommend this place for visitors of any age.

We were met at the pier by one of the hotel team members who carted our luggage all the way to the hotel.
Check-in was a bit odd as there is no front desk so everything is done at the bar. Our unit was at the very back of the resort, backing the kitchen which was very noisy first thing in the morning and woke us up every morning. It's definitely dated and could use some updating. The mini fridge in the unit worked but was literally falling apart and we had a mess of rusty water a few times. Safe in the room didn't work for us.
Tons of mosquitoes early morning and at dusk so make sure to bring or purchase good repellent and the coils for the front deck area if you plan to sit outside.
No pool but the snorkeling right out front of the resort was really good when we were there. We were told by the owner that throughout the year the visibility and water will change, so although we had perfect water, it won't necessarily be like that in a few months. Some of the fish are a bit aggressive so careful of that. One bit me hard enough that it broke the skin surface and I was bleeding.
The beach chairs were nice as well but get taken up pretty quickly. Beach towels were available at the bar.
The free breakfast was ok but the coffee was often only lukewarm. Tons of flies flying around the bar area so best to try and get a table nearby to eat at. We had lunch a couple times from the resort and it was pretty good. They brought it right to our table on the beach.
Main busy area isn't too far of a walk down the beach. Out of the 7 islands we visited in Thailand, Lipe was the most unfriendly we found as well as the most expensive.

We have now stayed at all Mali resorts. At this hotel we stayed in a garden wing. Unfortunately, it is not worth the money. The location is by far the best on Pattaya Beach but the bungalow we had was very neglected. Wi-Fi was non-existent, there were many different ones to choose from but none worked particularly well. The bathroom was tired with a shower without walls, so when you showered, both the sink and the toilet seat got wet. The safe locked several times so the staff had to come and open it. Ac did not work as it should. Had to set it to 16 degrees to get any cooling at all, but they weren't 16 degrees. During the entire stay, you could have coffee and water for free at the bar, which is a great service. We will maybe come back here but then in a different type of bungalow in that case, if they are not equipped. Must give a big plus to the staff who toil with our bags to and from the boats. What heroes.
Mali Sunrise feels like a better choice of accommodation in the current situation in Lipe. A plus at the hotel is the American guy (Jason). Great service and very nice.

The location on Pattaya Beach is great. We stayed in Beachfront Luxury Bungalow which offered Balinese style, outdoor bathroom and fantastic sea view. However, the price is so high comparing with the services provided. The way down to the resort entrance is dangerous. No welcome drink upon arrival. Check-in process is very fast as they didn't inform anything much. The room looks old and need some renovating. You need to walk to the bar with no one there to get some hot water or refill drinking water. No kayak here, you need to rent from outside shops. Regarding breakfast, you can choose only 1 from 3: omelette, pork or chicken fried rice and it's tasteless. Moreover, they served us with the rusty spoon, it's disgusting. At night, there was a party in front of the beach. It was very noisy and we could not sleep until 4 am in the morning. There is no one at the reception again. We then texted them, read but no answer until now. Disappointed.

This is a fantastic resort in a beautiful location not far from Walking Street. We stayed here 5 nights and then went to the otherside of the island (which is worth doing but we stayed in a far inferior property). Rooms are nice and spacious and breakfast is very good. Food is good too but there are countless places to eat nearby. Staff were brilliant getting us transferred to next resort
Worth getting a beachfront room if they are available.

It is situated between sunrise and sunset beaches with small but beautiful private beach with island view and golden sand. We had a parter pull view room. It was modern fubrished but with a zing of Thai elements. Very clean and filled with everything you could need. Staff is very helpful! Hotel picked us up from the speedboat and also gave us a ride back. Breakfasts are very European( which can be a plus or minus depends on your need) , so if you would like to try something local you need to go out outside. We had a chance to see most of the hotels on the island and this one is our favourite by a mile!

Regarding your second question. You should confirm arrival date via email just to be on the safe side. A porter and buggy driver will meet you at the boat dock upon arrival. Their porter will carry your luggage to the dock upon your departure. Please tip generously if they carry the entire way through the beach. Mali Resort porters are very amiable and hardworking. You should also consider staying at Serendipity if you're in Koh Lipe. It's more breathtaking. Granted both beaches have their own unique quality. See my pictures.
For your first question, I have no idea. You'll have to contact Mali Resort.
Have fun!
I am not too sure regarding departure from Langkawi. However, you will arrive at a big floating platform and you need to buy the small boat ticket to get yourself to the pier (10-15 minutes) -they will pick you up from the pier.

Hi Kimberly.
Thank you for your inquiry. Our garden wing rooms which have smaller enclosed bathrooms, do not offer a divide between the shower and toilet. Should you wish for distance between shower and toilet kindly book a Balinese style room. These have outdoor bathrooms and a large distance between shower and toilet
There are more places to choose from in the Ko Lipe area.
