We've been coming to the region for over 10 years staying in different hotels every year. However, we've been going back to Kurabiye three times in a row now. It is a truly magical place. The staff and management are incredibly friendly and really helpful. They book you transportation, tour guides, a space on the beach. The rooms are beautiful,... More

We stayed in Kurabiye as a group of friends. The staff were extremely helpful. They sent us friendly emails prior to checkin, to remind us to book restaurants or beaches. They sent a curated list of recommendations around the area. The hotel is beautiful. They paid attention to every detail. There's even a wish tree in the courtyard in the... More

We had two rooms reserved for the beginning of August. I came across a very big shock after going in. First of all there are no phones, no tv and no safes in the rooms. The rooms are extremely small. We were going to stay for four night but only stayed one and moved over to the Sheraton. The rooms are... More

I can't say enough about our stay at the Kurabiye Otel. First the building and rooms are gorgeous. Beautiful white walls with blue windows. The inner courtyard is all outside and pristine. The Turkish breakfast every morning is delicious and there was always a different treat over the three days we stayed here. The location is great. Right at the... More

Kurabiye was recommended by a friend. It is a gem of a hotel in a beautiful town. I highly recommend the hotel based on: the extremely courteous and helpful staff (who can recommend/help coordinate beach clubs and restaurants), the location (less touristy area but still in walkable area with plenty of restaurants and bars), and the charm of the hotel... The hotel is a cute place with clean and nicely decorated rooms, very rich breakfast and a good location. It is a little out of the centre, which prevents the noisy crowd out of your window, but still very close to all restaurants, pubs etc. Also being in the Hacı Memiş area, which is a popular area of Alaçatı, makes... Very nice, small, cosy hotel in Alacati. Friendly but pushy owners. Very clean, great breakfast. It is not right in the centre but very convinient and quite for the night time. Definitely recommend to all Alacati visitors

We had the pleasure of staying at Kurabiye Otel on our first ever trip to Alacati and for that matter Turkey. We LOVED the place. Its absolutely beautiful. Reminds you so much of Greece (maybe that was the idea?!). The Otel is beautifully decorated and smells SO good :) The owners are fantastic hosts. On my birthday, Mrs Perihan serenaded... More

I had the pleasure of visiting the home town of my Grandparents in Alatsata or as now it is called Alacati. Alatsata was a Greek town in times gone by. I had recently found out that the family home had been converted into a boutique hotel, I started looking for the hotel and i stumbled upon Otel Kurabiye and Patty... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In a TV commercial it says that "everybody works for a holiday". Are you one of those people? What kind of holiday do you dream of? To get lost in big crowds or to be somewhere where you feel home? If you prefer the second, welcome to our home. Walk on the narrow stone roads of Alacati holding your loved one's hand, feel the peace of village life deep inside and then come knock on our big wooden door, let us open the door to you with warmth and enter our cozy world. We built Kurabiye (means cookie) for our own dreams, to hear the laughter of our old and new friends' laughter, for people who can share our happiness, "you." We created a world with a little touch of Santorini, Mykonos, a little Alacati, a little breeze from the wind mills. A unique, small world with a Mediterranean soul. . An environment that will change your chemistry when you enter through our door. Wake up with the Alacati sun, to our fresh red tomatoes, home-made jams, cheese made out of the freshest milk, our Mediterranean olives. Lay on our sofas after breakfast, hold you loved ones, read the daily paper. Then go out to discover the unique Alacati and Cecme shores and beaches. In the evening, come back to Kurabiye with a little pink on your skin, sip your icy lemonade or your drink while relaxing in our big hot tub in the garden with your friends. After a nice hot shower, throw yourself out to the vivacious Alacati and Çesme nights. When tired, come back to the white cotton sheets of Kurabiye for a peaceful sleep. Our dream only has meaning with you. We expect everybody who loves and enjoys life to Kurabiye. See you soon and nice to meet you. ... more   less
