Main activity is walking there but depend on the season you go , you can do picking mountain vegetable in spring, river swimming in summer, fishing in Autum. Not that much thing in winter.

By car directly will be 50min You can take a bus directly or stop to Kii Tanabe then change bus to Shirahama In this case will takes 2hours!
