We loved our stay at Takatsuki work hotel! The staff couldn't do enough to help us. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The pillows were too hard for me, but that's about it. Location was perfect with shops right at the door.

We recently stayed here for 4 nights, there was a group of us as we travelled from Australia to watch our sons play soccer. I found the hotel was in a great location for us, bit tricky to find as the entrance is only small. Our room was small (double) with no view but some of the parents rooms were big with a view(they had a king room). Handy to shops and train station. Breakfast was in cafe down stairs and you could choose Japanese or Western. Western we had scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and juice.

I picked this hotel through the web after a short search, as I was looking for a closest hotel to our partner's office in Takatsuki. The photos at their web-site seemed pretty nice, the price was reasonable, and my Japanese friend's words were like: "This one is pretty new, so the rooms are ok, you can go with it". So, a short phone-call there and the booking was done. What really confused me is that no one asked me for a credit card info, I only left my name and the date of arrival. But, when I came there in 3 weeks, my room was waiting for me! The Rooms and the Location: My room was pretty small (I think, it's normal for Japan) but it had exactly what I needed. A comfortable bed, a table with a LAN connection port, flat TV (only Japanese channels), a fridge and a bathroom with a famous "washlet" (a toilet with a number of functions). The room service is daily, so the sheets and towels were always clean and fresh. And this is only a 3* hotel! The only compliant is that some rooms (or all of them?) don't have any view from the window except the brick-wall of another building in about 2 feet away! So,don't let the photos confuse you, it's situated in a small "covered" street, close to different shops and stores, you can even miss the entrance for the first time, the space is very limited. But I really didn't care, as I was leaving early and coming back late, so I didn't have time to stare from the window. Tip: Take your iron with you if you need it, there isn't any in the Hotel. And you'd better take a LAN cable for the laptop, too. There is a chance you will find that cable available, but it's more probable you won't. No Wi-Fi was available at the time of my visit. The Stuff: Their biggest plus is that at least some of them know English. At least for a little! Because it's really not easy to find an English-speaking person in Takatsuki. And, of course, as any other Japanese people, they are very attentive and nice. So, when I needed anything, they really tried to help me as much as they could. The Food: There's a nice-looking international restaurant right beneath the "lobby", on the ground floor. So you can find a place to eat nearby, that's a plus. But I never really had a chance to go there, so I can't say whether the food is good or not there. Facilities: There must be a great Roof-garden and a Stone-SPA. I mean, they were there, but same as previously with the restaurant, I didn't have time or interest for it. Overall, I would say that this is a great WORK hotel for those who really come for WORK. You have the in-room Internet access to check your emails, a nice and comfortable room and a pretty good location, close to a Train Station Takatsuki. Plus, it's very quiet in there, so no one will barely ever bother you. And the best proof is that I'm going to stay there again during my next trip to Osaka.
