We usually stay in a family-type room (mountain facing) with a Japanese-style room, but this time they added an extra bed and we got a four-bed ocean-facing room.
It was great because we could see the beautiful ocean every day.
Our family looks forward to eating the fried shrimp set meal at the hotel restaurant on the first night.
We eat so much that we're already full.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, we were finally able to visit Okinawa, and we were delighted with the food, which was the same as it was a few years ago.
I've never been with foreigners before, but there were a lot of them here.
I always think that if the dryers after washing could be gas-powered, it wouldn't be so crowded and more people could use them without stress.

General: The hotel is best reachable with our own car because it's located on Higashima Island. It's got a beautiful view over the sea with a small pool area and a restaurant.

Staff was very friendly and tried to help even if they didn't know English.

Food was ok - had better food in other places in Japan. The view from the restaurant is fantastic.

Rooms: It's already a bit used. They could easily improve by just putting some new color on the walls and exchanging the cushions and some furniture.

Onsen: Men and women are separated, no mixed onsen. Quite old.

Wifi: Average.

This hotel is a gem. Views from room and from lobby and so great you just want to sit down and sip tea looking for hours

Breakfast and dinner are cosy and sumptuous. There was a young vibe to service.

We walked down to beach, which was Hawaii quality with warm water so clean and clear. This is one of our favorite beaches in Okinawa

Stay here last summer. Love the view from my room so much, at night everything is quiet so I could here the sound of the ocean.
The dinner was big and delicious. The breakfasr was limited choices but good.
Overall the hotel is quite old, the pool need renovation and let the guests enjoy it.
The staff was very kind.

Resort leaves a western tourist dissatisfiesd. Although views are amazing, the rooms are bit worn out, there’s only one restaurant with very limited opening hours and menu (even though they claim to have two restaurants, the other one is closed, only okinawan food available) and no proper pool that could actually be used. The resort is far away from other services like restaurants, coffeeshops or convenience stores. Beaches are quite ok, small. There were people staying overnight on the besches in tents... Nice place to visit, but you’ll find better in Okinawa.

Stayed here in July (during monsoon season, not recommended time!), and I was very disappointed. The rooms are very very dated and in need of urgent refurbishment. The breakfast is average at best. The only saving grace is the beautiful views and location. Although there is absolutely nothing nearby to eat anything and Okinawa main city is easily over an hour away.

Got the Agu pork Katsu at the restaurant. Delish!! Good service and Food! Just a hidden gem on the other islands. Make sure to reserve a room advanced to get good rates. The view is breathtaking and spectacular. Definitely a must go for special Dinners with spouse or friends. In my opinion best linch view in Okinawa!

This was my second stay at this hotel. The last time it was raining a little and the hotel was packed full. This time the weather was fantastic and it was not that crowded. The view from the room was just wonderful, the awesome sunrise, starry sky at night, and the emerald blue sea. The beach is just a few minutes walk down the stairs. We had a great time swimming and floating in the clear sea. The breakfast was good, and the Japanese style public bath was very healing. Great for a few days stay on the east coast of Okinawa main island.

Quiet, peaceful, restorative setting. Your choice of cuisine or cafe style dining in the evenings.
Customer service - OUTSTANDING.
Full breakfast - your choice from two options.
Excellent room service!!! Example - We came in from a morning at the beach and happened to bring in quite a bit of sand with us. After asking for maid service, they came and gave our room a thorough cleaning - changed bed linens, dusted, cleaned the floors, scoured the bathroom top to bottom along with fresh towels and accesories. We were only asking for the floor to be cleaned and fresh towels.
Refrigerater and hot water pot provided, however, no microwave.
We did have a sleeping problems due to uncomfortable pillows - a minor detail.
OVERALL - THIS HOTEL FAR EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS IN MOST EVERY WAY!!!

Overall very nice holiday of 9 nights, relaxed atmosphere, beautiful views, almost private beach. Staff helpful and friendly, though not very good English skills except one person, who spoke excellent English and was very helpful.

Only real downside was the breakfast, which was nice and decent variety of Japanese and western dishes, but service bowls and platters were often empty and when refilled, portions were so tiny that they were soon again empty. In practise, they were empty if you were not among the first guests having breakfast.
