Taikyoro is a beautiful place to stay in a pure japanese style. It is perfectly clean, the service is excellent and people are extremely kind. We also had very good dinner and breakfast (we had both twice) with delicious japanese food and experienced the internal onsen. Perfect position, very close to the train station and village center. It feels like... More

This ryokan (Japanese-style inn) is conveniently-located next to the rotating bridge of Amanohashidate, and a stone's throw from the Chion-ji, and the dock for the sightseeing ferries for Amanohashidate. As a result, almost everything is within a short walk from here. For those who are not familiar, Amanohashidate is considered one of the three classic views of Japan. Some rooms... More

Wonderful location by the famous turning bridge with hot spring. Tatami floors were so old and squeaky when you walk. Staff was very helpful and attentive. It was a bit annoying to be asked what time we will be eating or what time we will be back in inn. Breakfast was excellent but they only had one set of Japanese... More

This traditional Japanese inn sits rights at the foot of the picturesque Amanohashidate land bridge . The hotel is right off the main shopping street on its side of Amanohashidate and is close to tourist shops and restaurants. I had the 8-course dinner at the hotel restaurant, which is definitely worth the money. The menu changes to fit the season,... More

From the outside the ryokan looked deceptively simple but the interior was beautiful and spotlessly clean and comfortable. Being located by the Amanohashidate bridge, it is convenient for walking through the pine-lined sand bar across the Miyazu Bay. The food was exceptionally delicious and beautifully presented.
