This became one of my favorite ryokans in Japan which is located in the small town Kokubu away from the crowds, just a 15 mins drive from the Kagoshima airport.
Receptionist was so welcoming, made for a pleasant introduction to the ryokan and my room. Nicely decorated Tatami room with beautiful mountain view. Again the member of staff was so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was equally fantastic and authentic in the dining room with views to Japanese traditional gardens, calm but very nice atmosphere.
The hot spring is superb. Both inside and outside onsen connected together which is very unique, also there’s a sauna, cold bath and deck chairs I loved the everything.
I enjoyed my stay immensely and the staff are all so kind and friendly, this is what hospitality is all about and to be so well... More
