Quinta do Tagus Village overlooks the Tagus River mouth and Lisbon. offers free WI-FI and private parking. Offering panoramic views over the pool garden and far-reaching towards of Lisbon. Suites properly equipped.
Cannot fault this wonderful hotel. Just back from a long weekend with friends and we are still raving about it. The setting on the Tagus is beautiful, the rooms are excellent and always spotless, the location is gorgeous, the food, drink and staff (especially the magnificent Flavio) are incredible and we really had one of our best holidays ever. It's about 25 mins to central Lisbon across the river (Uber is very cheap and reliable, costing around 12 euro for that particular journey) and you feel like you are in the countryside in the Quinta, which you pretty much are. We will absolutely return and cannot wait.

The stafff were lovely. Our big thanks to Joanna for her help on our last day. To Gonzales for his general advice, Katrina for our fab breakfasts and to the lovely David who had just started. The location is great with fab views but do bear in mind that it’s a bit of a trek into Lisbon city and old town (a 30-40 mins taxi ride or a walk/tram and ferry ride). This hotel is probably better in the warmer months when you can appreciate the location, gardens, pool and views. The breakfast/dinng room had lovely views. It was very clean and the coffee and food at breakfast were great, fresh with a good variety. Our room was clean and large in size although pretty basic.

We stayed 3 nights in July and another 2 in August, and we really loved it. The location is just wonderful.Just 30 minutes from the city with a taxi. Great views on the river Tejo, surrounded by olives trees and very well kept tropical gardens. The pool is area is very comfortable and clean. The quinta itself has an old-world charm with a cozy salon, and a fine restaurant wit a super view. The service and friendliness of the entire staf, is really great. Cristian, Lorenco, Pedro, Joao, Alina and George from the reception. Only compliments for their extraordinary service. This place has a very relax atmosphere, no posh or blingbling, like you can aspect in 4/5 star hotels. Our Riverview room was bright and very comfortable, and the girls from the housekeeping took care of the cleanness very well! Breakfast is Top , fresh and tasty a la carte. The restaurant offers a fine choice of reasonable priced lunch and diner choices. I loved the beetroot carpaccio very much! The only thing I missed in the restaurant, was some lights or candles on the tables. After a great sunset when it became dark, why not put some some small lights on the tables, it creates a more romantic atmosphere. As very regular Lisbon visitors, we will definitely return to the Quinta. Muito obrigado e Adeus Quinta Tagus. With warm Belgium regards,
Ignatius van Hoof and Stefan van Loock

I was at Tagus Village today, with some friends who would like to reserve a quiet place for their next visit to Portugal. I went to show them the place, and we were surprised by a lady, who came without saying good afternoon, simply saying thank you for not throwing cigarette butts on the floor. A space that perhaps wants to be recognized for excellence, perhaps should have education in the way they approach customers. I will not recommend this place again.

We were unlucky to book the last room in the hotel: room ‘pool view’. Our room was in front of the pool, with an amazing view but the room smelt of damp and everything was humid, even our sheets. We asked at the reception if there was another room available, unfortunately there was not. So we slept for 3 nights in this room. Night 2 I became sick and had to cough the whole night. There was no window in the room that we could open because the room was kind of a cellar. At the end of our stay, we spoke to the manager and told him that we did not understand that we had to pay 100€ more than our friends, who had a smaller but a normal, clean room. He would not listen to us, did not even apologise nor offered something to compensate. Too bad because all the rest was great: great view, great pool, great service in the restaurant. The situation with this room and certainly the reaction of the manager spoiled our stay here.

Beautiful location, on top of a hill with fantastic views. Great service from staff, very helpful and do everything they can to make the guests comfortable. It is useful to have your own transport, although the tram stop is just over a kilometer walk.

We had a wonderful stay at the quinta. The rooms are beautiful, the surroundings and the views are magnificent. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very good. The water was not that hot for showering. The breakfast place was a bit cold to sit, because of the cold temperatures outside. I stayed here in 2013 when the place was run by the family. This is not the case anymore and I missed them.

South side of the amazing River Tagus. Fabulous location, felt miles away from the bustle of the city. Very quiet only broken by birdsong. Stunning views in every direction. Comfortable spacious room. Excellent breakfasts. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. A gem of a find !

The owner of the hotel did not show up for the scheduled meeting. We flew from another country specifically to see and book rooms his hotel however he was not there. Unprofessional, lack of service and respect to his future guests. What a disappointment and rudness from his side! Waste of time!

Super nice view, very friendly staff, Haute cuisine food, nice swimming pool. Ideal for relaxing. Take the ferry to the highlights of Lisbon. A rental car is useful because it is quite remote. Close to beautiful beaches of caparica.
