I found this hotel to be more than acceptable as a 3 star. The room was well furnished and was kept very clean. The hotel facilities were good and the staff were friendly. My only complaint would be that some of the evening meals were a bit bland. The all inclusive deal was excellent value. Ski bus stop a couple of minutes walk away. Very much enjoyed my stay with them and would definitely consider them again.
Stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas and was not impressed at all. Hotel very basic and well overdue for an update. Bedroom very small and basic, one good point we were allocated a balcony room with amazing views of the mountains. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Evening meals dreadful, pork most nights and tinned fruit for dessert. Christmas Day we were served very dry turkey, we were told Christmas lunch with all the trimmings mmm well it certainly wasn't that. Nowhere comfy to sit of an evening to enjoy a drink ended up sitting in dining room.
Average hotel. Quite far from the city centre. Basic rooms with attached bath. Breakfast is not up to the mark. Since we have our own car and stayed there for just 1 night , so it was okay. But for a longer stay I think there are better options.
The first room they gave us reminded me of my trips to Easter Asia during my studies, meaning low budget trips; a stinky, dark room, wires from walls, lights without covering... When we asked for a better room, they gave us a new one from the next day. Tiny pool, really poor kitchen. Would not recommend.
Nice place, 500 m from the lifts.Friendly staff and clean rooms. The have a small pool and sauna. The skiing area is small but oke and not to buddy. 20 min from downtown Innsbruck.Dont except 5 stars but value for money
A good value for money ( as in economic) Hotel just over 20 minutes transfer from Innsbruck Airport. Typical Tyrolean menu - pork, veal and venison. Hearty and filling. Accommodation 3*, staff polite, friendly and helpful. Local ski area adequate for one/two days. Ski bus transfer to Axamer Lizum running frequently for a larger area. Coach transfer to Stubai Glacier on Tuesdays and Fridays. All good - whats not to like?
A nice place to stay, with good service. Warm and clean, the hotel waits you with a nice view to the mountains, too. Food is good and the stuff is nice too. In 10 minutes you can ski but also the hotel has facilities as: spa, fitness, WiFi, TV, Fridge, and so on.
Hotel is pretty central to the ski areas of Gotzens mutters and Axmer litzen and the ski bus goes to these areas regularly and efficiently . The rooms are pleasant no frills but warm and have all you need , room service is daily. The restaurant is ok ,there seems to be an " english" dining area but if you wanted to move they would accommodate you. The meals were OK , breakfast was the usual lovely breads cheese hams with scrambled egg and it did set you up for the day ,evening meals were uninspiring but edible. There was a bar which opened at 1600 , service was dependent upon time of day and who the barman fancied serving first . There was storage for ski equipment however we hired lockers at the ski depot and it was the best 10 euros spent.. Overall it was a good holiday , hotel could do with a couple of tweaks but it was a canny ski base…
Myself and my girlfriend came here for a skiing holiday with Inghams, the skiing was fantastic with a good choice of varied resorts serviced by a good bus service. The Hotel is a shell containing absolutely no atmosphere, the bar is like a library without books ! No fun to be had here. I am fairly well travelled but have to say the food is some of the direst I have ever had, if you don't get down to breakfast early you end up with the bits that are left over from the scramble of the early birds. The evening meal is a joke and virtually inedible, a piece of processed pork covered in uncle Bens sauce isn't my idea of a wholesome meal !
This hotel is very basic. We got a last minute ski holiday with some friends and the price was excellent for half board and the flight from Edinburgh. However, the food wasn't great (salad bar choices were dire) and at breakfast one had to be quick or the bread, eggs, bacon and fruit would run out. Also the coffee urn was whisked away on, or within ten minutes of, 9a.m., when breakfast finished. This hotel is advertised as a good place for non skiers, and so one would think the coffee would be available until at least 10a.m., to allow those who do not go off early to the slopes to enjoy a leisurely coffee after breakfast. The pool seemed OK on first inspection, but on looking closer, had rusty coloured stringy 'things' floating around at the bottom of the pool! Not nice. Didn't go in. Our room was ok. Bed sheet and duvet cover were spotless. Sofa in room was a bit stained and the cushions on it were grubby. Bathroom was ancient with dark brown wall and floor tiles. The bath and sink were kept clean by the room staff, but they had an impossible task trying to keep the loo clean. The toilet bowl had a nasty rust stain running down the back and there was a large dark brown mess on the inside of the toilet where the bowl meets the pipe. This evil looking gunge remained at the bottom of the toilet for the duration of our stay! Yeuch! Our friends asked for a breakfast bag on the morning of our departure. I wouldn't bother - it was ghastly! Agree with all the other comments here re. Wi-fi, cutlery, atmosphere and smoking. One thing in its favour, though - the staff were helpful and cheerful, especially the chap with the Afro hair, who worked hard, serving food and clearing tables. Nice little town, good walks and frequent buses to Innsbruck on lovely, fast and clean buses, and only ten minutes to the city.…
