We booked to stay for two nights this June. Upon entry to the hotel you are greeted by a stench and the overall appearance of the hotel is run down. During our first night there was loads of banging all through the night - the walls are so thin you can hear everything. To our shock 2 males tried to... More

Unorganised and rude. My booking got cancelled after booking two months in advance, when we arrived the male receptionist took my payment and then wouldn't let us in because 2/4 of us wasn't 18. Female receptionist is rude and lazy! very bad

After reading many negative reviews we expected the worst, however to our great and pleasant surprise, the hotel was lovely. The rooms were clean, we had no problems with parking or collecting keys, there wasn't excess noise or any major issues, the decor is a little dated but this is a low cost option, and the staff were very friendly,... This has to be the worst hotel and worst run hotel I have ever stayed in. I stayed two nights to go to Old Trafford for a match. The bar is so run down its not even funny. The whole hotel needs a serious make over. Worn carpets, smoke smelling rooms and corridors. The first night we stayed there was... More

Very simple and basic unfortunately for us, the free wifi refused to work properly and the beds were very rough. There were also a lot of cracked walls all over the place that could do with sealing up. The parking was also difficult to find mainly because there was no sign telling us that parking was toward the rear of... More

My friend had booked this hotel for our convention over the weekend, and I got rather nervous when I saw the review rating on TripAdvisor. I have never stayed anywhere below 3/5, and in today's age the hospitality industry lives and dies on online reviews. Well, surprise surprise, this hotel was briliant for the price. It's a bit difficult to... More

Upon arrival we were alittle shocked by how close to the main road it was as the website makes it look like it's set in its own grounds. After parking then walking round the front and through the smoking guests we were at the reception. Paid and got the wifi code. We walked round to our room through the smelly... More

To answer my own title – YES! And quite possibly a much wider area than just Sale. I stay away about 150 – 200 nights a year on business and this hotel is one I will be avoiding from here on in – FOREVER! I have stayed there a few times so this review is the result of: • Two... More

Unfortunately there were no 'chain hotels' close to where I needed to visit and from the photos this looked 'oldy worldy' but turned out not in the way I had hoped for. Still, it was clean and the full english breakfast (extra cost) was tasty - and brought to the table by the chef himself. Oh, and kept losing wifi... More

This hotel has tried to copy the Travelodge group of hotels room design but not quite managed to pull it off. It is basic but acceptable and clean. However, if you are staying here ensure you bring a good set of quality earplugs. There is no soundproofing of any kind in this hotel, you hear everything that fellow guests are... More
