On business and stayed one night and while I might not rush back to stay the dinner in the restaurant was excellent and great value for money. As outlined in a few previous reviews rooms could do with an upgrade especially as regards where to plug in laptop, phone etc. WiFi really slow. I was on business so these were... More

We stayed here while cycling around France, the owner took care of every need. Cold beer, lock up bicycle storage, directions to beach bars and the a fantastic dinner at his award winning restaurant. An absolute gem of a place. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh fruit was freely available. I had some forms sent to me from Canada and the... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night in June as a stopover on a work trip. The pros: it was relatively cheap, it was within walking distance to a lovely beach, and the bathroom had been recently remodeled. The cons: I very much needed my French-speaking friends to assist with check-in, the bedroom carpet was quite stained and dirty,... More

The hotel is modern, spotlessly clean ,the management and all the staff are polite and friendly, the restaurant is bright and airy and the food is really excellent;if you don't fancy the menu de jour they will happily find you something you do like--nothing is too much trouble

Fantastic location, walking distance to the sea and ALL french!. We stayed there in July 2014, with another couple for two nights. Rooms were very comfortable, reception and service excellent and best of all (for us) was that we were definitely English tourists in a French hotel and made to feel very very welcome. Food/ Restaurant : Although lacking in... More

My wife and I stayed one night here while driving north. The whole scene here reminded me of 50 years ago in Ireland at a seaside resort where the patrons (mostly elderly) returned year after year, had their assigned tables in the restaurant - ate 3 meals a day in the hotel and had the same routine everyday. The room... More

This hotel is well run and has excellent parking. Our bedroom (no 1) was at the front and had a balcony with a delightful view. The bed and bedding were comfortable and the en suite clean and well supplied. As with most French bedrooms it was of modest size with few frills. However, perfectly adequate for our needs. We requested... More

We stayed three nights having visited many years ago. We chose a top floor room with a sea view rather than one on the side with a balcony but no sea view. The room was clean and the hotel quiet being set back from the road. The owner takes a pride in the gardens and can be seen tending the... More
