The good stuff: 1. The chat feature in the Marriot Bonvoy app is fabulous. I have used it to - figure things about my reservation before getting to the hotel. - order pillows and dishwashing pods while I was in my suite. - order food from the in-room dining menu. There is a 4$ service charge for room service. (found this part weird) I picked up the food from the restaurant. 2. Check-in was smooth. Covid protocols in place. 3. Parking charges were waived when I requested for it as we were at the resort for 2 nights. The underground parking area is secure and can be accessed using your room key. 4. The 1 bedroom suite overlooking the village is beautiful. -Lots of room and a decent kitchen with a dishwasher, toaster, and pots + pans. -The 1 bedroom suite has two flat-screen TVs. One in the living room and the other one in the bedroom. 5. The table lamps in the unit have USB outlets to charge your devices. Great feature. 6. Super big washroom, probably the size of a big den in a downtown condo. 7. Check out was virtual, I did not have to go down to the front desk. 8. Food at Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill is superb! 9. I enjoyed using the mobile key feature to get into the room. The app is well designed and teaches you how to use your phone to unlock the door. Service recovery and the not so great stuff: 1. We found some housekeeping stuff left behind when we checked in. The toilet was not cleaned thoroughly and had sharticles. -Front desk offered a room switch overlooking the village and then got back saying it isn't available and then offered us a mountain view 1 bedroom suite. We opted for housekeeping to come in and clean our room as we preferred the view we had. -We were also offered a 50$ credit which we used at the resort restaurant. 2. One of the burners on the cooking range wasn't working. This was fixed when I reached out to the team using the chat feature on the app. The verdict: We would love to come back. Everyone here makes an effort to make sure you have a good time.

Had a great time in Collingwood at this hotel. Room was extremely clean and tidy. We got upgraded by Pierre in Front desk to a suite and loved spending time in the heated pool. Also loved o and b restaurant my former boss works there and gave us a friends and family discount.this was excellent as this was me and my moms only vacation this year due to covid. I would definitely come back here in the future and stay. Collingwood and Blue mountain truly is God's country. Would stay at this hotel again definitely.

After much communication and overcoming initial misunderstandings with the hotel team regarding our questions and needs when planning our stay, we settled in for a very enjoyable three night stay. While there were a number of issues in our accommodation, it did not take away significantly from our experience. We appreciated the many thoughtful touches and amenities that enhanced our stay. Management does a nice job of acknowledging special occasions and honouring requests whenever possible. I do agree with other reviewers who feels that the front desk staff is not always competent or aware of everything as they should. For example, I was told repeatedly that I had to show identification with my birthday on it at check in in order for them to process a special rate and yet when I made a point of doing so, the front desk agent was a bit defensive saying that it is not up to him to grant me a discounted rate as if I was negotiating the rate on the spot. At first, he refused to look at my information and even after I explained to him how I was asked to show it at check in, he still seemed disinterested. It was obvious that he is not aware of the hotel website and the rates on offer, and the conditions that must be met for some of the rates such as the CAA rate, etc. I was not upset by it as much as surprised by his lack of knowledge. We dined in the hotel restaurant for two of the three nights as a way to show the hotel our appreciation for the room upgrade. We really enjoyed the creative jerk chicken entree although we felt the wine list prices were marked up a little high but when we discovered one of the nights were half price bottles, we upgraded to a very nice bottle for a more reasonable mark up!

Had an awesome time at this hotel. Service was great. Pierre at the front desk hooked us up with a free room upgrade and free parking since we were celebrating my husband and son’s birthday. We went on a Monday for one night so it wasn’t very busy which was what we were hoping for during COVID-19 times. We did do the outdoor heated pool with the kids. Water was nice and warm but we had to make a quick run for it from the pool back inside as it was pretty cold outside. The room was nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. For a family of 4 the loft was perfect. Had a king bedroom, kitchenette and dining table, living area with sofa bed and the loft had a queen bed. Kitchenette was very handy with young kids. Everything you need is supplied. We got a late checkout at no extra charge. Will definitely be back. We had lunch at the Oliver & Bonacini restaurant located in the hotel and dinner at the Northwinds restaurant in the village. The walk into the village is just a few minutes. Perfect hotel to choose when visiting Blue Mountain. Great service goes a long way!
