The decor of this hotel is a bit old, but it must have been nice and grand some 20 years ago. We were happy with our room and the sea view. The onsen and food were fair. One of the onsens does not have open air onsen though. So, when you go you should make sure you get to try...

We stayed in the Mixed Room (和洋室), which has 2 single beds and tatami area (living area that can also be converted into sleeping areas at night). The room is spacious, can comfortably accommodate a family of 5-6; the wide window provide panorama view of the inland sea and Itsukushima Island. Shortly after we entered the room, one staff delivered...

This hotel has a feeling of luxury from the first step into the foyer. Make sure you get a room with a balcony and a view of the oyster beds and Miyajima Island. The sunrise is spectacular. The food in the restaurant was beautifully presented though service was slow at the busiest times. A real taste of Japan at its...

Subpar experience: You can tell that this was once a great hotel, the common areas still have a certain charm, the private boat pier has some swag, the service is relatively good and the onsen is very nice; however it seems that this hotel has just been abandoned and left to slowly rot away; the rooms are terribly old fashioned...

The hotel offers a very good view on the island with the Floating Torii and the temple. The evening boatride to the Torii is quite impressive and well done. The hotel staff is very friendly although English is not widespread. The pool is small but we did like it and it was not crowded. In the Restaurant we really liked...

Stayed 2 nights in May, impressed with the service and stunning view, we took many photos in our wonderful balcony! It's an old and big resort, good service although front desk staff may struggle in English. Hotel provide shuttle every 30 minutes, in one morning we could not got in as it's full (only around 30 seats), so we walked...

I sincerely hope you take this review on board. I stayed at the hotel after it was advertised as a 5 min drive from ferry, and looked to be of a quite high standard given location, price and stars. Worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. I would give it a fair 2 -3 stars, and would pay no more...

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and chose a package which includes dinner and night cruising. After a dinner at restaurant in the hotel, cruising boat departed from just in front of the hotel. Dinner was good and well served by a manager. Cruising was also nice with interesting guidance (in Japanese only) and surprising steering a boat...

Stayed here in September by chance. Hotel was set right on the sea with great views. booked a japanese style room which was very nobel but a little uncomfortable sleeping on the floor. internet was poor....only in the foyer. What made it memorable was the great service from the staff. they spoke very little english but tried everything in their...

We stayed in a Japanese style room, had a Japanese dinner and tried out the onsen for the first time. Pretty memorable. My biggest complaint is that the wi-fi was horrible and practically non-existent.
