I stayed 2nights at the single tadami room. And its well organized & cozy. I loved the onsen and the pool. The pool area is pretty clean and peaceful. But the staff couldnt speak english well but its fine. They tried to help me when i asked with every hands.also I used google translater. I cant forget how good the morning buffet was. I will definitely come back next time. Its just a few restaurants around here. Theres famous udon place(i didnt go). Near that restaurant, theres a izakaya(they serve okinawa local food). Its cheap and foods were good. They have korean-written menu. so easily chose the menu for me. But one thing i was feeling ubcomfortable was that a korean staff said Restaurants near the hotel, they dont want korean to come. They dont have korean written menu, and her words seemed like even people in the hotel didnt like korean guests. Because we didnt speak japanese, after she said, everytime i had to ask to the staff, i felt a bit worried. I dont know why she said that. I didnt ask for a korean staff. The other staffs brought her to me, even i spoke english. Ofcourse im korean. I didnt do any wrong but she let me feel a guilty.

We stayed in one of their 3 annexes during our 3D2N stay with Taisenkaku. Their staff members there were extremely welcoming and some of their trainees spoke English well, and explained to us in detail of their every facilities. They didn't offer a variety of colourful yukatas like some other ryokans so if you wanted to wear one you might have to bring your own. The annex was in a traditional Japanese style with a garden (and pond) right outside our room. The bushes, flowers, stones and koi were very well taken care of. We were entitled for 2x 50 minutes sessions at their private outdoor onsen. To my surprise, even it was located outdoor, the onsen was in a good condition. Clean and tidy, with towels and hairdryer in the changing room. Breakfast was in buffet style with plenty of choices. Dinner was served in a private room with preset menu and the food was delicious. Our second dinner was a bit light but still very nice. In short, our stay there was impeccable. Not a budget stay, yet a highly recommended ryokan! A pity -- We wanted to go see the cormorant fishing on the second night, however due to adverse weather it was cancelled.
