I have slept in many business hotels, and picked this one because Akita was fully booked during the Kanto-Matsuri (festival) in August. The hotel is not too far from Omagari station (on the Akita Shinkansen line), which is excellent as it enables you to see the entire area from this hotel (e.g. Kakunodate, Akita, and Tazawa lake). Clean single rooms, AC, 120v service plugins for Canada/Usa people, own bathroom and shower/tub, pleasent facility, decent breakfast, 10 mins walk from station. Washing machines every few floors.

By most standards the rooms are small, but have everything you need. Plus good air-con, a fridge and free wi-fi. Walking distance to the JR station and Gran Mart.

I found the hotel staff alway accomidating and the place is clean has men only Japanese bath house and the price is avarage
