Close to Paris yet hidden in the middle of the forest, Le Mont Royal offers high-end rooms and amenities for a memorable stay. The staff is highly efficient and kind. The bar and the pool were really stunning. However, the food is not as good as what could be expected for such a place
Our theory is always end a trip on a high note: this is it for us. In France for 7 days to scout sites for our wedding. Paris to Autun back to Paris. This place is a vacation. Bellman, front desk, servers, its all great. Food is great. 9 / 10 breakfast. Paris in July is a real treat. Close enough to go back into Paris for shopping. we are from the Midwest and can only take so much of downttown Paris so this is a perfect home base for relaxation -- food and drink. The Rooms are incredible. The elevator is terrifying but effective. Go here. I will never visit France again without staying here.
Close to Paris, next to Chantilly, close to perfection. Personnel is warm and efficient, hotel is completely renovated and clean, excellent food and beverage quality and service. absolutely recommended
Beautiful hotel with many amenities available for guests (tennis, bocce ball, indoor pool that was sparkling clean and refreshing, sauna, a gym, even mountain bikes. We had facials in the spa that were very nice, food was excellent at the Stradivarius restaurant/bar. The hotel was so clean and well taken care of and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Wonderful deck area for drinks and relaxing, and roof top deck for watching the sunset. Just 30 min from CDG airport!
The Opéra restaurant is just great. Room was beautiful except the polyester 10 euros pillows !!! What a shame for a 5 stars hotel for a room i paid 650 euros per night ! They should immediately invest in goose down pillows like every 4 and 5 stars hotels in the world ! Shame for my neck pain I got the next day !
We had read the reviews of past visitors prior to booking preferring to make our own judgment , but to be fair subsequently whilst later disagreeing with many the negative reviews that did not put us off staying for prebooked four nights in June 22. Stunning location and a very nice hotel where the majority of staff were excellence , in particular in reception , truly professional team, a big thank you . Recommendations aplenty , good room on the 4th floor and very quiet north facing with little day light it has to be pointed out, so beware when checking in. Standards of bar staff below par and require training , one example of this is , delivering drinks must not hand hold glasses but on a tray , tut tut… Our gripe and that I know of other guest was everything to do with the fact the hotel was hosting three conferences during our stay, week nights the terrace was mainly occupied by delegates as was the stunning main restaurant for evening dinner , shocking, and we were relegated to effectively dining in the bar, disgraceful practice. After the first night we ate out. Incidentally the noise from adjoining room was unacceptable. Interestingly Saturday sadly our last day, without the delegates around the whole place changed for the better becoming a hotel providing all we had wanted in terms of facilities and quality of service. Super place, and no doubt clearly needing the conference business but very much to the detriment of the individual paying guest, so do beware !!!…
Booked a 2 night stay here for my father and myself for a bit of relaxation on the way home after a 10 day motorbike trip through Spain and France. It's not cheap at all, and compared to similar 5-star spa hotels in the UK probably a little expensive for what it is. Rooms are great and the terrace / restaurants are really nice. Food was ok, but some dishes are very much an acquired taste. Breakfast is not great - the "hot" food on offer (Chicken sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs) are kept under a light bulb and are luke-warm at best. Would keep to the bread and jams to be honest. Biggest and only real complaint was the air-conditioning in the room. The lowest possible setting is 24 degrees - which considering we spent probably £3,500.00 for two nights stay - including food and drink, is not good and not cool enough when the sun's out. The Spa is nice and really clean - although the "hot tub" is cold and the same temp as the pool. Finally, although it was probably a one-off for us during our stay, my deluxe room looked out over the front of the property and the main entrance, and there was a coach load of people that arrived for a wedding the next day at nearly 2am and they were so loud outside the front of the building it was a joke and kept me up until gone 3am. They should have been asked by the staff to respect the other guests and keep quiet !!!…
We chose to stay here instead of an airport hotel and definitely regret that decision.. Front desk staff was lovely and surroundings *outside* the hotel are beautiful, but overall this was a 3-star experience at a 5-star price. It has the feel of a themed Vegas hotel/casino that lost its luster 10 years ago with dated rooms and facilities.
I went with my mother and gotten the executive room as a treat and it was absolutely amazing. From beginning to end, I felt that I was treated with respect and the workers of the hotel were very attentive with my needs. At the reception desk, they reminded me of the reservations I have made and I was also assisted with the bags to the room. The executive room was a treat. It felt like I was royalty and I only wished I could have stayed there longer. The only downside to the reservation was that there was no designated shuttle service from the hotel to the airport. I felt the hotel would benefit from a service
We l booked through World of Hyatt's partnership with Small Luxury Hotels. Easy access from CDG. Beautiful, clean suite, incredible view. The staff pushed the experience to 5 stars. We were met at the car, guided through check in and to our room, where wine and fruit were set out to welcome us. This will be our favorite hotel near the airport!
