I visited Monte Da Cunca for a week early June and absolutely loved it! Great location, 2 amazing beaches within a 10 - 30 minute walk. There's plenty to keep the kids busy, from a trampoline in the garden to renting kayaks or boat to the beach. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

I've only been here a day and I'm already compelled to write a posative review! I arrived to a warm welcome, clean bed and as much organic food as I could eat. The farm is staffed by wwoofers, all working together to provide guests with the best holiday experience and insight to the local culture. The beach is a 10...

I really enjoyed my five nights at Monte da Cunca. The setting is beautiful, the apartments are located just outside the rural Algarve village of Carrapateira, and, importantly, ten minutes walk from the beach. My main reason to come to this area was to try out the surf so I was happy to be able to rent surf boards at...

We had a 10 days stay at this wonderful place. It is really resourceful in this restaured farm. The breakfast is just great and not expensive at all with scrumbled egs, Chorizo, fresh bread, croissant, cakes and fresh orange juice. The host saved our lives when we called him after our van was stuck in the sand. He arrived 5...

Stumbled upon a wee haven of organic loveliness. Everyone must visit these beautifully crafted sanctuaries. Enjoy the pleasures of hand-crafted homes while visiting a stunning area of natural beauty. So many superlatives, lovingly restored by passionate nature-loving people. Fabulous

Our stay at Monte da Cunca was far too short! The apartment was lovely, as were the people. We loved the outside seating area and above all the location. Right in the heart of the natural park, the area has beautiful beaches, a freshwater lagoon leading to sand dunes, a nearby lake, hiking paths, quaint villages... It has it all....

We have been travelling to Portugal for the past 7 years and always have relied on a French travel guide called "Guide du Routard", it has provided us with consistent value in our trips abroad. This year we have selected "Monte da Cunca" for our accommodation in the Vicentina coast of the Algarve. From the start it was obvious that...

Monte da Cunca is a place where you can find relaxation. In the middle of a beautiful nature-reserve the small clay-houses are located perfectly: The surrounding landscape is full of colours and the beach is only a short drive away. Also the small village of Carrapateira is only a ten minute walk away. For surfing you can find two beaches...

I stayed here for almost a week. I had no reservation so I had to try differrent houses. Everything was well though by this eco-minded and cool team. I'd recommend you to visit this place, 10 minutes away from carrapateira beach, far enough to be in the middle of the nature instead of being in a loud village! They are...
