As soon as you step into the lodge Michael and Tamami make you feel part of the family. Thanks to their support and advices our trip has been so much easier and enjoyable. The owners didn't spare any time and efforts to help us in every way, from restaurant reservation, bike mechanic, very early breakfast, last minute dinner, shuttle, etc... By far the best service I've got in an hotel. The place is very clean, very well maintained, in a good location, nothing missing, flawless experience, great and friendly owners.

We came to Myoko to join a cycling event so booked a couple of nights at the Lodge. It was a great choice ! Michael and Tamami went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The place is super well run and maintained and the service is really friendly and personal. I would surely recommend staying at the Myoko Mountain Lodge.

We had a great time staying with Michael and Tamami. It was a great spot for the group of 10 of us. It was a short walk into town, and close to the Akakura ski hills. Michael was helpful with shuttles to and from the train station as well as to dinner some evenings and to ski hills. The breakfast was very good and the dinners we had were delicious. A great place to stay.

I had a wonderful 9 day stay here. Tamami and Michael were very attentive, thorough and welcoming hosts who went above and beyond, and made me feel like family. Tamami is super caring and cooks a wonderful breakfast (and I recommend the delicious dinners too, especially if she offers sushi night!) and Michael was very efficient shuttling me around and offered lots of practical advice. It's in a quiet woodland area, walking distance to Akakura kanko/onsen ski resorts (and 20 mins walk to Akakura town) or they can often shuttle you. Highly recommended! Thanks guys, I hope to visit again!
