The Glenelg Inn serves some of the most delicious, interesting and gourmet food I have ever eaten, especially at a small venue in the Scottish Highlands. The menu was different every day, displayed on a chalkboard. The presentation was also very appealing. The food was so good that we ate at the inn all but one day of our stay... More

We had a wonderful evening here after climbing the 5 Sisters of Kintail. After ordering a couple of drinks we took them up to the roll top bath for a well earned rest. Feeling fully refreshed we returned to the bar and enjoyed a marvellous dinner. Prices were reasonable and there was lots of choice. Views from the Inn across... More

A delightfully friendly inn on the road to the Skye ferry. Basic but clean and comfortable rooms (room 6 is the best). Delicious local food in cozy dining room. Wonderful views well worth spending time enjoying with a dram. Added advantage of bar with friendly local.

Arranged a meal in the Glenelg Inn for 19 people on a busy weekend. Sheila the owner was so accommodating. The food was fantastic, the service was top notch and the staff were friendly and sociable. I cannot praise their efforts enough and it rounded off a very good weekend celebration for my friends 60th birthday.

3 night stay here after an initial visit 25 years ago. Better then we remember. It's remoteness is a definite positive, so peaceful, wonderful views over the sea to Skye. Our dog was also made extremely welcome Great welcome, wonderful seafood and an extremely attentive waitress, well done!

This is the old traditional Scottish pub. The food is excellent and the service is brilliant. There is a very nice atmosphere and you also could order raspberry beer with your meal. Very clean and high standard. I will visit again.

Stayed a couple of nights. When I booked, didn't realise it was so remote and quite a drive off the main road. The food was excellent - I stayed there for the seafood. Room in the annexe was disappointing, not high quality, and overpriced for what it was. Floor sags badly in places. Good view across to the Isle of... More

Great service and welcome, cosy place, log fire, great setting, fresh quality food. Want to go back if I can get there but it's so far out of the way.. That's part of the charm tho. Recommend this place to anyone travelling in the highlands. Situated right next to the water, it's well worth the 20 mile round trip drive... More

We had a garden room at this very old and intriguing inn and the views across the loch were fantastic. Nice comfortable and spacious room. The only strange part was the fact that the en-suite did not have a door but a screen that you pull across - not sure if this is to everyone's liking! However the service was... More

This is my favourite pub anywhere. The location is stunningly beautiful, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is a great village pub (often with live music too). The rooms in the hotel are well furnished and very spacious especially the upstairs room where our friends stayed which was magnificent. HIghly recommended.
