We held our wedding reception here a couple of years ago and have been lucky enough to be able to return a couple of times since, most recently in January this year. On every occasion Michelle, Marianne and their staff have made us so welcome we know we will be back again. Great food with excellent selection of evening meals... More

We stopped in here after a drive out for the day just after new year. We were so glad to find it open. There was an extensive kids menu as well as a specials board which had something for everyone. Both the steak pie and the haddock were delicious - we would definitely recommend eating here

Been going up here for around 4yrs and this was our third annual Xmass/mountain weekender. The Trekkers hut is an ideal base if you want to do a bit of climbing or just exploring. It has everthng you need for a comfortable stay and if you don't fancy doing your own cooking then the hotel has plenty of choice. I... More

Stopped here for a dinner after a good hike. I went for the steak ale pie, my friend got a gammon steak with carmelised pineapple. Everything, from amazing flavour to the quality of each ingredients (even chips although I'm not keen on chips) was beautiful. Everything freshly made to the order. We polished off our plates. Service was excellent, friendly... More

Didn't actually stay here but driving to Eilean Donan we stopped to get some photos of the loch only to realise my car exhaust was hanging off. I went to ask if they had a spare bit of wire to tie it back up and the owner (Richard?) went and got a bit and helped me get it sorted out... More

We were very pleased with our spacious room and bathroom at the front of the hotel overlooking the loch. The double glazing must have been very efficient as we heard nothing of the storm ! We thought the breakfast was excellent and enjoyed our two evening meals. We found it all to be very cosy and welcoming and very good... More

Highly recommend this lochside haven where we stayed for 3 days sheltering from the October gales/monsoon. Extremely friendly helpful staff (barman gave us good advice on alternative walking routes when our plans to tackle the 5 Sisters looked suicidal) v comfortable spacious room with adjoining room for our son and dog (not just dog friendly but dog loving hotel) a... I've been here a few times and always left feeling a bit disappointed. Service is good, the food is average to good but the bill always leaves a bitter taste... it's not great value and the whisky selection is poor. I always leave telling myself to give the Cluanie Inn a try, and next time I will.

We didn't stay in the hotel but ate in the bar on two separate occasions. The staff are extremely welcoming, it's great to find somewhere for an evening meal that will take dogs and children. The first night we ordered steak pie, kids fish & chips and a fish stew from the specials board. The choice of food was vast... More
