Went for lunch. Food was quite nice and not too expensive. Service was good with friendly staff. Tables were extremely close together which made it seem crowded although there were not many people in there. Free wifi which is a bonus.

This was recommended to us by our local B&B. Nice to see it used as local village pub. Smoked salmon starter was delicious and the langoustines were amazing. Steak pie was lovely. Sometimes it felt a bit long between the staff seeing to us, but they were very nice. Highly recommend.

Well for very famous castle to be on the door step of a very quaint village that has sadly died. The hotel was like going back in time by 30 years needs gutting and modenising. Wouldnt have been so vad if the owner and his staff were freindly. They were rood and unhelpful. A girl called Grace was the the... More

Taking non drivers to a wedding at the nearby castle, we experienced very comfortable accommodation at the Dornie Hotel.Breakfast was excellent as was our dinner in the evening.Room was spotlessly clean and a comforting refuge from the terrible weather. Highly recommended

I stayed here at the beginning of the week. The first thing that hits you when you walk in is the awful smell of old cooking fat. There was no heating on anywhere in the hotel. The room was clean but the bathroom had terrible black mould all over the tiles. The beds were comfortable and had good duvets. The... More

We stayed here with my grandparents before heading to Skye the next day. We were greeted by a lovely young man and showed to our rooms. They were lovely but basic, on booking we had been informed that only one of the rooms had a shower, the other just having a bath. I'd said it was ok. However on arrival... More

Service was good nice and friendly, carrot and leek soup was delicious. I had the lamb goulash for a main and thought it was lacking a bit of flavour, could also do with extra veg in it as it was mostly lamb and tomato. Tastey enough but wouldn't rave about it. The price was a little expensive but it's quite... More

Excellent value for money and good choice menu at this Highland pub in Dornie. Set near the castle the pub is ideally situated for food and a drink. The staff are friendly and courteous for the most part although there is one female member of staff who really lets the whole place down. She is surly and rude, so just... More

we stayed here for one night and though the room was basic it was clean but dated. However this was more than made up by the very friendly staff who with our evening meal and then by getting up early to prepare breakfast for us outwith the times advertised surpassed what my score for the room would have been.

My son and I done the North Coast 500 and picked Dornie as our first stop so we could visit the spectacular Eilean Donan Castle. The Dornie Hotel looked good to us and the staff were very welcoming when we initially booked up. We arrived and we were greeted at the check in desk with a warm welcome, we were... More
