Drove from Kanazawa. Very accessible hotel. Allocated the 9th floor facing the bay (all rooms face the bay). Chose the buffet package. Substantial but not the highest food quality (what to expect from buffet). The onsen was a little underwhelming considering its an onsen town.

Due to 11th hour booking, it was only a couple of rooms that we could choose. General rooms were equipped with a toilet and a bath but the room we stayed wasn't. It wasn't a big problem because there were toilets next to our room, and big baths on the 1st floor and 3rd floor,

This is a very large resort/hotel/ryokan in one of the oldest resort towns in Japan. The baths themselves were fine, aesthetically there was nothing special about them to my eyes. Room was a hotel room with ryokan furnishings. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel
