Our second stop on a 2 month tour of France. We stayed here to extend our time discovering this beautiful area of France. The hotel was very good in all respects, and our hosts were most helpful. Unfortunately we were there (early June) before it had got itself ready for the season so it did not yet have it's busy...

We found this hotel through Trip Advisor and stayed for two nights in June: it coincided with some great thunderstorms too! The hotel is excellent: well located in a peaceful village, yet within easy day-trip distance of Chartres and other places. Do take a walk up the hill to the church. The rooms are very comfortable indeed and the restaurant...

This was our second stay at this charming and comfortable small hotel. Our room was modern but had traditional features with a small decked terrace. A very comfortable bed and modern shower room. Great communal rooms spread across two floors with tea and coffee making facilities available. Staff are friendly and professional and nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant...

Every single place of the hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff works quiet and efficiently. Breakfast is plentiful, lunch and dinner delicious and exquisite. Certainly, Philippe and Sandrine make their hotel a...

Booked the Fol Avril as a stop-over on our way back from the Pyrenees to Caen, for the ferry. In truth, I was largely influenced by reviews on Tripadvisor and also by the hotel's excellent website. We arrived late in the afternoon, following an enjoyable drive up from near Cahors and found the hotel very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed...

We had a lovely 2-night stay. The staff were without exception warn, friendly and very helpful. We wished that we had booked a longer stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable if somewhat unusually arranged. The restaurant is outstanding, you should book ahead for dinner as it seems to be quite popular. Breakfast was generous and excellent. Hope to return...

This is a lovely hotel with an excellent restaurant. Whatever the weather, we've enjoyed ourselves here and this was our third stay at the hotel. It's such a good example of what France does best - small, family-owned hotels with an excellent restaurant - perfect for a couple of nights stay. The hotel is situated in a very pretty village...
