Lovely little place. Really quirky. Rooms are clean and spacious, beds were really comfy. Beautiful breakfast and the owner is lovely. Also got a friendly sheep dog and our kids loved him. Only downside is that it's really hard to find its not sign posted very well.

If you like quirky, quaint, history etc then you are in for a treat. A great welcome into the medieval world with modern bathrooms. Genuine welcome for us and our American guests. Great breakfast too! Convenient for Kilworth Hall and Theatre where we were going. We drove past it twice too! The sign mentions the beauty business more prominently than... More

I drove passed it twice - but i think that was my fault for not actually reading the instructions !! Very interesting place, not like anywhere I have ever stayed before. If I am in the area again I would go there again. Its like you are actually staying in someones house with them, although I guess you are really.... More

We stayed at The Old Hall for 2 nights to attend a wedding at Hothorpe Hall in the next village. As we drove into the grounds we were amazed by the most beautiful setting and grandeur of the building. It's really very impressive. Our hosts were warm and friendly, making our stay as comfortable and happy as possible. They really... More

The Old Hall is a diamond in a very sleepy village. You will not be disappointed from the moment you step into The Old Hall, till you leave. Carolyn is a wonderful hostess and the place is steeped in so much history, which if you ask, she will show you. To be honest,it was like experiencing a small slice of... More

A one night stay on business. Wow what a building. Large comfortable room with access to my own living room. Great hosts & nothing was too much trouble with fresh cooked breakfast in the morning. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

What an amazing place such a warm welcome. I was only here for one night on business, but can't wait to return. The house it's self is steeped in history with a unique style. The room had fantastic views around the grounds, it was so peaceful. Carolyn sent a menu by email offering an evening meal if we wanted to... More

Excellent b and b. Lots of character and some excellent conversation and food. The only problem was I was there to work and not to relax completely. Why stay in a travel lodge when you could stay in a place that is actually pleasant.

Carolyn runs a brilliant B&B. We looked out of the window in the morning, saw eggs being collected from the hen-house, and really appreciated their taste at breakfast. The pancakes with maple syrup were pretty good too! The Turville Room is vast - bedroom, separate bathroom, huge sitting room. If we were picky, we could say that the television in... More

We stayed here for one night and thought it was fantastic. Carolyn was an excellent host and made us feel so welcome. The room was gorgeous and breakfast was made to order. It was perfect, wish we could have stayed longer. Its a great location if you're going to Armourgeddon, just 5 minutes drive away.
