We stayed two nights at Heraclea and were very pleased with our stay. The room on the second floor was spacious, had a balcony with a sea view and overlooked the pool area. It was quiet at night, except one night that turned out to be karaoke night! Thankfully they stopped just before midnight, but you might want to go...

We (5 of us) were attending a family wedding in the area so I booked 2 separate suites at this resort after reading description and looking at pictures posted by the resort!!! In the pictures it showed a mini kitchen, but to our dismay the kitchen section was LOCKED UP. I asked to have it unlocked and they said impossible...

My wife and I booked a room at the Heraclea hoping for a comfortable relaxed two days of exploring the Ionian coast. The Heraclea met our expectations at a great price. After staying in smaller rooms in the hill towns, we enjoyed the spacious room and even more so the terrace overloking the grounds and pool. The hotel is easy...

Always during september or october as these months offer a very pleasant climate and a very reasonable price level. So why did we return to the family owned and managed Heraclea Hotel Residence? Because here you are met by the most friendly staff,...

The hotel is superb, surrounded by a magnificent landscape, few steps far from the beautiful beach of Policoro. In my opinion, many of the reviews do not make justice to this hotel. It 'was a pleasant discovery. My room was very comfortable and always clean and the swimming pool in the garden just lovely. The food was impeccable: Italian cuisine...

Our stay in Policoro was splendid thanks to this hotel where we spent 4 nights in August. The location is great (3 minutes on foot to the sea!) and the atmosphere was calm and serene. Rooms are spacious and anywhere in the room, bathroom, throughout the hotel was spotlessly clean and perfectly maintained. We also enjoyed so much every single...

The beach is 250 metres away, easy to walk (we had a pushchair). The food is very good (a choice of 2 "primi piatti" and 2 main courses, buffet for vegetables and excellent fruit), waiters friendly and assisted us with whatever we wanted for our son (1 year old). Our room on 1st floor was newly refurbished and big; wifi...
