This campsite lies beautifully in the Dolomites and is very tidy and clean. The bathrooms and showers were very good and reception staff is very friendly as well. While the rest of Europe was bathing in a blistering heat we had a very nice temperature and very few pesky insects like mosquito's or wasps. The environment is perfect for cycling, hiking etc. The swimming pool area is nice but a bit small and warm. We can recommend this campsite but it is a bit pricy, rest is perfect.

We stayed two weeks in Vidor Family for our summer holidays. We definitely spent the best family holidays we have ever had. It was worth driving 15 hours from Dordogne in France to have such wonderful holidays. We have three boys aged of 1,3 and 5 years-old. The Dolomites, Pozza di Fassa, Vidor Family, appartment A8: it is the place to be if you like moutains, nature, sport, have young kids. People in Vidor Family have been so kind and welcoming with us. Thanks a lot for your attention and your kindness. We really appreciated the size of the appartment, which is really big and adapted to big families (2 bathrooms, 3 big bedrooms, one kitchen where 8 people can eat, one living room, big balcon). My parents spent one week with us. They had their proper room and bathroom. We used the two other rooms and the other bathroom. The sofa can also be transformed into a big bed. We also appreciated the situation of the apartment which is in the centre town, 50 metres frol the SPAR (mini supermarket where you can find all you need). And we were of course fond of the Domolites, Pozza di Fassa, the swimming pool VIDOR… Again thanks a lot to Camping Vidor for these fantastic holidays we had. For sure we will come back. Sebastien

We stayed in the appartement A7, which is located approximately 1 km from the camping. Basically in the middle between the camping and the town centre. So this review is based on that, we do not know how it is to be on the cam site. Location of the appartement is great, although too far from the camping if that is what you are coming for. A walk is at least 20 minutes over a pretty bad path if you are walking with a baby stroller. The walk to the town is better. And the location of the appartement to the town is much better than the location of the camping towards the town, which is quite isolated. On Thursday's there is a nice marked place just in front of the appartement. Also some restaurants and a super market are in short distance. A big disappointment was the extreme noisiness of the appartement, the family above us in A8, had 3 kids and to be honest, that ruined our holiday. The running of the kids sounds like a demolition hammer and that started quite early. The screaming and barking of dogs in the appartement made it complete. We came for a rest but in fact the week in the peaceful mountain area was much more stressful as our daily lives in the city. The appartement is quite complete, with full kitchen equipment with dishwasher and 2 nice bathrooms complete with washing machine. The only thing we missed was aan extractor hood in the kitchen. The beds are hard and of poor quality but to be honest, that is the same in 80% of all holiday homes. We did not spend much time in the camping. We walked over it and used the playground. It looked quite nice and well kept. We did use the swimming pool once which is great but will cost you 20 Euros!!! for 3 hours if you are with 2 kids. This should be included in the price of the appartement, from our point of view it is better to pay €100,- more for the appartement up front and the swimming pool is included. Pros: - big appartements A7 and A8 - washing machine - dishwasher - nice new bathrooms - clean appartement and camp site - location to town centre and Dolomites Cons: - noisiness of the appartement - unleashed dogs on the appartement grounds - no extractor hood in the kitchen - appartement A7 has no balcony or seats outside. A8 does have a balcony. - hard beds of poor quality - swimming pool very expensive and not included in the price - walk to the camping grounds quite long on a bad path We rate our stay 3*, would have been much higher when the appartement was less noisy and had more rest.

The cleanest and neatest camping I have ever been. Two of us stayed in a tent on a pitch and we reserved a room in the main house. Everything was so perfect, the food in the restaurant is brilliant. I have only one negative comment where they would need to improve: information. There was no any sign or text that the handle in the shower is not for ventilation but emergency. Unfortunately we pulled it, the noise was incredible however nobody came for the alarm. It took us more then 20 minutes to find someone to delete the warning and make silence again. When we found a lady with white hair she was so upset that this incident happened without apologizing that it wasn't written anywhere. The second shock was that we return to the house after midnight and the main entrance was closed. Nobody has informed us that there is a closing time and how to get to our room late night. And finally, the gym opens only after 10 am.... That is not so customer like, people like to run and exercise early morning. So please put more effort on information and signage. Beside these, everything was fine.

We had a luxury lodge with 2 bedrooms, which was very nice, clean and spacious. Pool area is new and looks good. Staff (especially pool staff) were very unfriendly. We were not allowed to buy family pass (2 adults, 2 children) because 1 adults was not present while buying, he would arrive 1 hour later. And many things like that, too much rules. People pay a lot of money for this camping and they should be helped and feel relaxed. We were frustrated by staff and that's never happened before on many, many holidays. Pool staff were the worst. Walking around with a very unfriendly look. When people asked questions they were looking very irritated and did not help people. Whistling and shouting at (little) children. They say they are a family camping, but they are not. Children should be able to play, but they were not treated like children should be. Not only our childeren, most children were shouted at. Kids area (very large with lots to do) is really good!
