We stayed one night at appletons farm, on the way back from Limoges up to the Normandy coast, we had a lovely meal served outside and copious amounts of red wine flowed throughout the evening.would recommend Annie and mark😀

Travelled with 8 other members of my family and 2 dogs. Malcolm and Edward made us all feel welcome. Accommodation was good and clean, food and wine were pleasant, parking was secure. We travel through France on a regular basis and stay in B&B's every year, this one is a gem and we'll definitely be back.

I had not been her before although I had been in touch with Malcolm when they were full. Tea in the garden when we arrived followed by aperitif and then by a simple but extremely delicious supper with our hosts. Room perfectly acceptable and breakfast all I needed. Will definitely go again if driving from South to North

This is the third time we have visited , and have enjoyed every visit. The food and company is great . The home -grown produce made into delicious meals is worth the visit alone. But the crux of this place is the hospitality - the warm welcome with the cold beers. Malcolm and Edward appear to genuinely enjoy the company...

A fabulous place to break your journey. A memorable 3 night stay. Edward and Malcolm gave us and, our spaniel, Sassy, the warmest welcome..... we honestly felt more like friends than guests. The room was clean and comfortable. Edward recommended some great walks and places to visit. The garden is absolutely beautiful. Freshly grown produce from the fruit and vegetable...

What a great find and a brilliant start to our French holiday when we stayed with Appletons and Malcolm and Edward for the first night. It broke up our journey to the south of France in an ideal way. When we arrived we were given such a welcome with a bubbly kir and a meal which awakened our taste buds...

I travel south several times a year from London to Toulouse and Appletons is in the perfect position for an overnight. Malcolm and Edward are fantastics hosts, welcoming and inclusive. I've stayed here several times now and they really do deserve full marks. Supper in the garden with great home cooked fare from the garden and idling away the evening,...

A very warm welcome from our hosts Edward and Malcolm was given to us all. The accommodation was spotless - I stayed with my family in a large room for four in what used to be the old pig sty! It has been spotlessly refurbished. The food offered is lovely and certainly good value. The garden is great for relaxing...

I can not recommend this accommodation enough from the warm welcome you receive the minute you arrive from Edward, Malcolm and Leo the dog to the beautiful accommodation and absolutely magnificent food. Myself and my husband were on a motorbike trip in Loire Valley and this was one of our best choices. I am a Vegetarian and Malcolm and Edward...

Stayed for one night on a stopover & we were welcomed warmly (cold beer was immediately on offer). Accommodation was immaculate & very homely. Leo, the dog, was wonderful with our 14 month old son & Malcolm & Edward provided great company & amazing food. The communal eating set up may sound daunting, but is actually really laid back &...
