This visit was a University reunion (49 years since graduation!) in a group of about 14 organised by others. This place was the best venue we have used in several years. Picturesque building, location and local area. Room fine (dog-friendly rooms in courtyard). Bar, restaurant and lounge areas highly acceptable. The very good menu would probably seem overly repetitive for...

This hotel has a fantastic, photogenic setting right on the banks of the Severn, with a National Trust property opposite, and a fascinating church just a stroll away. The road outside the front of the hotel is pretty busy, but not disruptively so and certainly no nighttime disturbance. The public areas of the hotel were spacious, comfortable and dog friendly....

Just spent three nights here with a group of fourteen friends. The staff were brilliant, very welcoming and professional and patient with a sense of humour. They had to be as we were all 70 years old, having met at University 50 years ago! The food was excellent, the rooms very clean and beautifully furnished. Would return anytime. It is...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights for our anniversary over easter weekend. We had one night with breakfast and one night with breakfast and 3 course dinner included. First of all, I want to say that I am not writing this review to be totally negative and critical about the hotel - these are comments which I hope will help improve things for visitors. On the plus side, it is in a lovely setting and the building is striking in a good way! The receptionist was (and is)...

The whole of her team for the Afternoon Tea through to an evening meal for a very large family gathering were sympathetic, professional and extremely well organised. Changes were dealt with without fuss....
