I travel to Georgetown, Guyana frequently from Denver, Colorado. The trip tends to be long and difficult despite the fact that Guyana is not that far away. Finally found the Regent Star which is located just across from the entrance to the airport. Staying there has made the trip much easier than the overnight flights from so many cities. The...

Was a short but great experience. Food was awesome. Drinks (beers) ice cold. Rooms clean, very friendly staff and a fine dining experience in the restaurant. Will recommend it to anyone. And its very convenient as well to the airport.

Being on a delayed flight, I was offered to spent the night in the Regent Star Hotel. The hotel is next to the airport and for that an ideal place to spent the night if you have to fly out early. The hotel is under construction, the lobby is finished and looks brand new. Our room was a pie shaped...

I choose this hotel for my daughter and her family of four. This was her first adult visit to my birth home (Trinidad) and I wanted her to have a good experience. While her stay was comfortable, it was not what we expected. The location is prime, close to the airport but a little underdeveloped. The pool was not ready...

The only good side of this hotel is its location. It's very close to the airport. Every other facility of this hotel (rooms, restaurant, shuttle service, staff etc.) is a mess. So, do not choose this hotel unless you do not have any other alternative.

We had to fly into Port of Spain for the night and our hotel was paid for by the airline. We stayed here with a few other couples on a layover for one night. We only showered and slept for a few hours. It was nice enough for that, but overall the hotel seemed somewhat abandoned and dark. The bed...

We hit this hotel at a time during which lots of construction was going on. Apparently it's been going on for several yrs. and from the looks of it, it could go on many, many more. Hardly anyone was staying there so, though some of the areas in the facility were gracious enough, the spaces were so cavernous and so...
