We absolutely adored this place! The tents are wonderfully designed and the outdoor bathroom is a real treat. We enjoyed hearing the baboons call out in the morning and being greeted by the dassies as we walked throughout the lodge area. The sundowner walk was wonderful and the dinner was excellent, served by really friendly staff. We also enjoyed a...

We thoroughly enjoyed this lodge, with the very comfortable tented family room comfortably accommodating our family of four. Meals were tasty and service good in a restaurant with an unparalleled view out over the granite landscape, with noisy lovebirds like colourful jewels at the bird bath a short reach away. We found the guided nature drive and bird walk very...

Thanks very much for the great review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and our family tent. We will pass your comments onto Emanuel, he will appreciate your comments. Yes, we are very grateful for the rain even if it does mean that the game move away from the lodge but as you say, the bird life is always abundant...

ERONGO WILDERNESS LODGE Wonderful big tent set in the huge boulders . Free guided walk - to top of baboon kopje - was very interesting . Guide excellent with stories of growing up in Namibia at frequent rest stops! Superb game for moonlight dinner on deck . Staff friendly . Breakfast tray brought to table had a full continental -...

Quite a different style of place to others we stayed at - spacious tented lodges built into the rock with 'outside' bathroom and birds calling all around. Food is good and they were very accommodating for a vegetarian. Small clean plunge pool with loungers. We had excellent guided walk and sundowner drive with Emmanuel who is very knowledgeable about birds,...

This was a really good place to stay. The "tent," the service, food, and overall ambience were all first-rate. It also helps that it's in a beautiful area with good wildlife, especially birds. Would highly recommend to all types of travelers. We really liked the family room.

Erongo Wilderness Lodge, our favourite. Room 10 a perfect position. Tented room very comfortable and people lovely and evening drive very good. The meal was set on the terrace overlooking the waterhole with birds in abundance. However we made the mistake of trying to drive up to the lodge in a 2WD. We should have left at the gate and...

This was our first stop on our 16 day holiday in Namibia. We were given a warm welcome and found all the staff helpful and informative. Our tented accommodation was comfortable and clean with a wonderful view of the surrounding Erongo mountains. Our first night was rather noisy with the baboons in the local vacinity! We particularly enjoyed the walk...

We are an active travelling couple in our 60's. The Lodge setting is marvellous and we had a wonderful welcome, but a 4x4 is preferable for getting there, rather than the 4x2 we had. Never mind. The food was good, but a limited choice. Our morning guided walk was excellent, informative and fun. We were allocated Room/tent no. 6. This...

We have just got back from 17 days in Namibia and self driving was the best way of seeing the whole country and appreciating all the different areas and regions. Namibia is a country of enormous contrasts and our last stop at Erongo was a wonderful place to wind down and enjoy excellent service and lovely walls and views before...
