Very comfortable and modern deluxe rooms, extremely attentive five-star service and the best food we had in three weeks in Namibia, cooked by the lodge's Mauritian chef. Very nice game drive to Bushman engravings, we saw lots of animals and a lot was explained by our very informative guide. Our only complaint is that compared to other lodges it feels... More

The friendly staff ensures a truly outstanding quality and extremely personalised five star service. A great place to rest and enjoy in comfort and style. The chef is really great and made gastronomic meals for us. The décor of the rooms is modern and very comfortable. The main lodge is spectacular and felt extremely cosy.

The best place to enjoy peace and quietness between birds and animals. Swimming in a nice pool looking in the eyes of a giraffe, while baby rhino, guarded by his mother ,enjoys teasing big male rhinos . The most beautiful smile welcomes us at the entrance of the park, followed by big smiles at the entrance. A place with taste... More

Our stay in the recently renovated Epako Game lodge was a perfect way to end our 2 week foto safari in Namibia. The hotel's main building is designed flawlessly with a "Ralph Lauren comes to Africa" feel of luxury and attention to detail. The staff delivers the highest level of service equal to the finest luxury resorts anywhere in the... More

Stayed here in June 2015 with the family. We arrived to find lunch waiting for us...and a very special lunch as well. The service never let up from there...with everyone working seamlessly for the duration of the trip. Our room was upgraded to the Loft Suite which had a great view across the dry riverbed. The decor is minimalistic modern... More

The waterhole and the afternoon game drive were highlights. Arriving to be told that there was a problem with the game drive car and we might not be able to take our booked tour, then I asked if the car was broken and told yes, when I asked for a refund, amazing enough the car was not broken, but there... I was there after a few days of camps in Zambia and caprivi and it was refreshing to have a nice and clean Place to stay. I am not fond of game-lodges but I admit that the glass of whine I had on the terrace overlooking the pond where animals came to drink was one of those special moments.. The... More

A beautiful Place and a wonderful setting. You can See the Rhinozeros at the waterhole while having dinner, it was very relaxing after driving around in Etosha. The rooms are nice, only the bathrooms are a Bit oldfashioned. The Game drive is a Must-do, we saw a Lot of animals and Birds we did Not See before. Omaruru is a... More

The setting is perfect, idyllic in fact and it clearly was well designed and laid out at some stage but beware! it is now the African "holiday home" of a Lebanese businessman who clearly doesn't believe in empowering his new general manager to deliver what the website promises. The whole place in under-resourced and under-staffed (Reception closes at 5pm and... More

We stopped over at epako on our way from etosha back to Windhoek. Our intention was not game viewing(having just spent 3 nights in etosha). We were however very surprised with how much game visited the house waterhole, including 3 rhino which stayed until after dinner time. The staff were super friendly and we found the rates to be good... More
