We were making a very quick visit to Sheffield for a family function and needed a room for a night with a breakfast option. The website made up our mind that The Sitwell Arms Hotel would be perfect - we were so misled. It is either an attempt to let people experience bygone days or the management won't spend any...

We decided too drop in for a drink on our way home , we haven't visited here for years apart from wedding receptions.which are held in a separate section of the building. We parked up at the front of the pub and and as we walked towards the front entrance ,and as I walk with a stick, we noticed the...

Stayed overnight following a family event sadly a lovely night was spoilt by a nasty aggressive waitress, during breakfast. Whilst eating breakfast the butter on my wife's toast tasted foul and when we looked at the date on the butter I was shocked to see it was out of date. The waitress didn't appear interested in the fact they were...

the bar management dont seem to have much idea (you have to put the names of beer on the tap to let you know it is on) the barmaids i experienced were very nice but over worked .(barmaid, waitress delivering food and collecting crockery)so expect to wait occasionally.the hotel is a wonderful building but needs a revamp as it is looking...

My partner took me here for a short break. I loved it! Set in a beautiful location. The staff were so friendly and helpful (Becky on reception in particular) She was helpful when we rang struggling to find the place (silly SatNav) she gave us lots of information and rang us a taxi. Nothing was too much for her and...

We stayed in room 5 on the 21st October which is a family room. We were part of a large group staying over for the 'King (Elvis ) meets Swing' night. We arrived earlier than expected but we were able to check in . Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean and we welcomed the tea and coffee facilities in...

We called here for a stop on a bike ride last week for some food and a quick drink. We ordered two sandwiches at £7-8 each and we were disappointed, the service was slow and the pork and stuffing sandwich I ordered was sloppy and very bland. The bread roll was really cheap and dry. However the stuffing balls and...

The place is old and tired. The room we stayed in was hot beyond belief and very noisy. Breakfast is served in the bar area instead of either of the restaurants. The gardens shown in the pictures are not available for public use unless you are there to get married. The management seem more interested in the gym and weddings...

Arrived here and parked easily. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room, at the front of the building, was spacious, clean and well equipped and quiet despite having 2 functions going on that night. Booked a meal in the restaurant which was tasty and filling. The range of food offered for breakfast was plentiful. Thoroughly enjoyed our...
