really a bad hotel. the only positive thing to say about this was that they have good beds. the food was the same for lunch and dinner. the snack bar consisted of a dry "sandwich". the last two days the food was cold. the entertainment was spared due to few guests. there were noises from chickens, goats and sheep. there were cats everywhere and they jumped on their lap when eating. really a disappointment.
Very nice hotel the only thing it needs is animaters I would like to thank sevastos and chef best people in pyli Bay next year also for sevastos and chef also we didn't like Antonis very bad always shouting and speak bad to the waters he must go also aspasia why always smell dirty
Returned a week ago from this hotel. We had a lovely time. Booked it 5 days before we went. Staff were pleasant and all spoke english, room was very clean and was attented to everyday. Food was lovely and plentiful, except there could have been more at the bar during the day. My husband loved the compound of goats and sheep which he fed daily. Two Large swimming pools, crazy golf and a childrens play park, didnt have any children so not sure what the play park was like as didnt go there. Guests were mainly couples and young families, no drunken louts around the pool or at the bar. Beach is a 10 minute walk away with a few bars and restaurants - plus plenty of sun loungers and a beautiful sandy beach. We had a wonderful relaxing 7 days - thank you guys
Tui should delete that „Hotel“ from their catalogue. It is old, sad and simply not a hotel. The food is THE worst - super unhygienic; nothing is being kept cold- buffet toppings stand in the Heat of 35 plus celsius for hours and there are cats running between guest tables. Front Desk is Rude and totally incompetent. Close that building
Very nice hotel with a beautiful garden, rooms are basic but comfortable - there is all you need (air conditioning for free). There is a beautiful sandy beach in Marmari, about 5-7 min from the hotel by walk, you have to pay for sunbeds there – about 8 euro for whole set. In Marmari there are just few supermarkets and bars but if you want to go shopping, go to Kardamena or to Kos town. I recommend to rent a car for a day or two and just drive through the island (about 50-60 euro per day). The food is very tasty, once a week there is a barbecue in the garden with traditional Greek dishes. On Monday there is a Greek evening with live music and dancers, who will make you dance too and it’s really fabulous evening full of fun and dancing. The whole staff is very kind and helpful so in the hotel is very friendly atmosphere. Waiters are always smiling and willing to do everything for you. Special thanks to chef and Sevastos ♥ I recommend this place for those, who are not looking for a nightlife so it's a perfect place for families with kids.…
Very clean and friendly. Beds could be better. A lot of fresh vegetables and always what to choose to eat. Everywhere many animals :-). You can see all domestic animals you can remeber. Beach is really beatiful, sandy with nice view of close islands. It was nice holidays :-)
The rooms were okay as a 3 star hotel, but the food served in the evening has a lot to wish about. The bigger pool is okay but there’s no bartenders who will come and ask if you want a refill. The staff does not clean around the pool, but the rooms are always and everyday cleaned. As a 3 star hotel it is very fine for pairs and family with children, it is located 8 minute walk to the beach where you can find taverns and a nice long beach with a lot of sun beds.
This hotel has a quite good price offer. The clientèle is thus not the best but it wouldn't stop me from going there. The facilities are good but the beds could be better. Was very surprised with the food, although canteen style is still quite tasty! Be aware that on Sundays there's no house keeping.
We were in Pyli Bay for one week in the beginning of July (all inclusive, 2adults, 2kids). We definitively can't recommend this hotel. A 3* greek hotel is NOT compared to a 3* hotel in Europe. The room was clean (clean towels every day, cleaning 6times a week) but very basic, small with old equipment incl. old uncomfortable mattresses. Breakfast/lunch/dinner was in buffet-style, served for a lot of people, so we spent 20 minutes in the queue for each meal, together with our two small children :-( Generally, Pyli Bay is not prepared for children - no children's cutlery, toilets / washbasins, no children's program. There is only one small broken playground.
We stayed in Pyli Bay for about a week (all-inclusive) and we had basic expectations based on all the reviews. We had an overall ok experience but will not stay here again. There are way better options on Kos Island but you have to pay a little more then €600 per person for 9 nights. A 3* greek hotel is NOT compared to a 3* hotel in Europe. There is nothing to do in Marmari, you must rent a scooter/car to see something. The rooms are ok, they are clean but basic. Clean towels almost every day, cleaning 6 times a week. Swimmingpools are clean and ok. Food is in buffet-style, served in large amounts for a lot of people. About 80% of the people that stay here are Russians with babies or small children. They are not very polite and will take several plates with all the 'good' food and take half of it with them in bags to their room (which is not allowed). All-inclusive in this hotel means 3 times a day a meal and between 10:00 and 23:30 free soda, old coffee from a large pot, tea, beer, wine, ouzo or raki. That's it. Snacks inbetween are non existant but there is a small supermarket 'Fani' next to the hotel and a larger one 'Konstantinos' 5min walk. The snackbar 'Flisvos' serves only drinks so you have to buy chips from the supermarket and bring them to the bar. Everybody does this. For 'half-board' service you pay less and are not allowed to take soda/beer/wine from the machines. But if you only stay here to sleep I would suggest not to pay for 'all-inclusive'. You can get a decent lunch/dinner for about €8 each at the local restaurants. We made our own party in Pyli Bay with another Dutch couple and had a nice time. The combo Ouzo-Fanta and Brandy-cola is free at the bar ;) Tip: - Take extra fruit in the morning from the buffet like a pear or an apple because you don't get anything to eat between 13:30 and 19:00. - Book your vacation early and search for at least a 4* hotel in Tigaki. Tigaki is not as big and expensive as Kos-city but has a lot of restaurants and bars. - Do not stay in Pyli Bay. - When you go to the beach walk to the right and away from the rental beach-beds. There is an area with free sunbeds. - Buy a €2 frappé from the beach-bar next to the windsurfing location. This bar is officially for Caravia Beach Resort guests but you can sit there for free in the shadow with a good frappé.…
