The Guesthouse is just next to the Mekong River, where you can swim safe and free. Wat Phou Temple is only 10 kms far away. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are quite basic, but still comfy and with hot water and mosquito nets. The place itself is very chill and warm, plus the restaurant serves quite good...

We stayed there two nights. Rooms ok and around 14 $. Location is not bad. Bed are hard but I like that. I am nevertheless really bored of this country wich is abusingly expensive for what it is. Come here and for breakfast you will have to pay anything Bread... 5000 Jam... 3000 Butter... 3000 Egg ... 10000 Cofee... Yoghurt......

We stayed one night at the Anousxa Guesthouse whilst on our motorbike travels. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the air conditioner was a little noisy and not particularly cool. The beds are typical of Laos in that they are firm (hard). The restaurant, set in a lovely location overlooking the Mekong River, provided good food and ambience. The...

Came here on recommendations of other travellers. Got fan room for 60,000 Kip. Dark small room, very little space due to beds taking up all the room. Noisy fan. Small bathroom with open cistern on toilet, tap barely worked. Thin threadbare towels. Bed was the hardest in 3 weeks of travel in Laos and just too uncomfortable to sleep well....

...and it is enough. Poor room and low service. For breakfast only omelette. They could make an effort to manage the guesthouse better, view of the river it isn't enough to appreciate this accommodation. Only bed and pillow are ok. Nothing to write again.

We stayed in one of the rooms facing the river. Room itself is good, lovely terrace towards the river. With 160.000K a bit overpriced, especially when considering the bad mattress. Restaurant is average, nicely set with river views though. What this hotel really lacks is friendly service. Nobody seems interested and the owner is on the edge of being rude....

We booked a standard double room via a booking site. The room was advertised at usd 15 per night, and as offering river views and TV. When we checked in, we were shown a room with neither views nor TV. I queried this with one of the employees who took us to a room facing the river, but still no...

this place has a nice view of the river and a decent location in Champasak. The owner is friendly and speaks some English but was not overly helpful. The staff in general are not attentive and did not clean our room which I would expect at that price. Rooms are very, very basic. Hard mattress and uncomfortable linens. I am...
